Sometimes it’s the unexpected acts of kindness that stay with you forever.

After my mom passed away, I was placing an order with my skin care vendor, Intelligent Elixirs and apologized for my delayed response because I had been dealing with everything surrounding her passing. I never expected anything beyond a kind reply.

On the day of my mom’s funeral, a beautiful meal was delivered from our local Graves Grocery for my family. The card simply said, “Our sincerest condolences, Mary and Cat.”

Today I finally figured out who had sent it.

It was the wonderful team at intelligent elixirs in Denver, Colorado. They took the time to find a local business in my small hometown and arrange for food to be delivered to my family during such a difficult time. I was completely surprised and deeply touched.

A Quick Update to My Wonderful Clients 💙

As many of you know, my family has experienced a significant loss of my Mother recently, and I am now caring for my dad as he navigates life with dementia. During this season, my work schedule will be temporarily reduced so I can be there for him while continuing to take care of my amazing clients.

At this time, I will primarily be seeing clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when I have a caregiver with my dad. I will also open Fridays when my schedule allows.

Because my availability is much more limited, I need everyone’s help in protecting appointment times.

✨ Please keep your scheduled appointments whenever possible. Most appointments are booked 4–6 weeks in advance, and that time is reserved especially for you.

If you know of a conflict—a doctor’s appointment, vacation, work obligation, or anything else—please let me know as soon as you become aware of it. Please don’t wait until you receive your one-week reminder to let me know you can’t make your appointment. By that point, it is often too late for me to fill your reserved time. The earlier you let me know, the better chance I have of offering that appointment to another client.

I also ask that you please add your appointment to your personal calendar at the time you schedule it. My reminder texts are simply a courtesy and are not intended to replace your own calendar.

Due to my limited availability, I will need to strictly enforce my 48-hour cancellation policy. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice (except in the case of true emergencies) will be subject to the cancellation fee. I truly appreciate your understanding, as last-minute cancellations leave appointment times that I often cannot refill.

Thank you all for your kindness, patience, and support over the past several weeks. Your understanding has meant more to me than you know. I look forward to continuing to take care of you while I care for my dad during this temporary season.
