Slow paced days in the salon are my favorite.
I love talking to my people… so much so that at times it tends to set me a smidge behind time wise.
I love taking care of my mom & daughter duos!
At one point this was a grandmother (momma^^), mom, & granddaughter/daughter trio - well technically grandma & mom came & then I’d catch daughter/granddaughter on a different day, but she’d swing by & all 4 of us would get to catch up for a split second.
This is one of my “why’s”.. getting to be present with my people.. the fellowship♥️
I quit social media for a while because it is & was TRULY draining.. coming from one of the first to use it for self marketing in our area 10+ years ago.. I was a testament of how the socials can work for you & for a small business.
I was drained.
My job is hair - not content.
After YEARS of the back & forth struggle / love-hate relationship, it feels different this time.
I think it’s a peace - a sense of peace that only comes from Jesus & knowing that He’s got me. He’s got my family. He’s got my people. He’s got my business. He gave me this heart for others. He gave me my creative mind. He’s given me words for my clients in times that I surely thought my nickname of “she who inserts foot in mouth” should have absolutely been applied. He’s led me to talking to strangers about Him & His unwavering love. He’s opened doors I never thought would open.. all for His purpose for my life, not my own.
I think it feels different because for once in the last 12/13 years of being in the beauty industry, I don’t feel the pressure of preforming or posting because I know who provides for me. I’m not worried with keeping pace with others - I’m just here, doing me, & trusting in His plan.. & it feels good.. it feels, free🫶🏻

D1 Crashout but make it a bright blondie with a strawberry blonde reverse balayage twist 🍓✨
Sometimes your pretties come in, sit down, and explain a color that you can’t even google for placement inspo.😜
BUT at the end of the day we nailed this bleach + tone with painted ribbons of strawberry blonde throughout the ends for added dimension 🫶🏻
