It’s starting to get really annoying that because of mods, video games these days are just focused on female character creation and completely forget about the males. Yes, Skyrim is the root cause if we’re being honest here. I think it’s great that video game producers are trying to appeal to the communities wants when it comes to character creation but it’s like you can make a stupid beautiful female but making a male is like making a handsome dude then slapping mud on his face. Even tho armors look way better on males, the character itself be horrendous and it’s too easy to say “then start playing a female character” cause that’s not my play type. I play as if I’ve been put into the game myself, the only game I’ve seen that’s implemented it perfectly is Dragons Dogma 2 where every character on any race can be handsome/beautiful. Skyrim mods are so biased towards females, even Cyberpunk 2077 if you pay close attention base game is biased to female character creation. It’s so bad the Assassins Creed Odyssey EVERYONE knows that choosing the male is basically playing the game with the most boring character ever AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE SAME PERSON?!
