Healing Paws Veterinary Center

📢 A Little Practice Update! 🐾

We have made a few changes to our practice- including our hours and the way we're handing calls. We wanted to keep all of our fantastic clients in the loop!

Our new hours are:
🕗 Monday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🕗 Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🕗 Thursday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🕗 Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Right now, it’s just Dr. Totten and myself(Alex) taking care of everything! Because of that, there may be times when we aren’t able to answer the phone immediately, especially when we’re caring for a patient.

If you have a scheduled appointment, there is no need to call when you arrive — just come on in! We’ll be expecting you. 😊

If we don’t answer your call right away, please know that we WILL get back to you. We promise we aren’t ignoring you! 💕 Calling multiple times in a row can actually tie up our phone system and make it harder for us to receive other calls.

📱 For urgent questions or concerns, texting us is often the fastest way to reach us. Our texting number is 681-312-3155. We can usually see a text much sooner and respond as soon as we’re able.

💊Is your pet running low on their medication? Please don't wait until they are out. Please try and give us a 24 hour notice so we can have it ready when you stop by.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we navigate these changes.

Thank you for supporting our small practice! It means more to us than you know. 🥰

Hello! Our phone system unfortunately had a glitch and said we are closed today. However, we are open until 2 pm! Our phones should update shortly!

Thank you for your understanding ❤️

Edited to add: I am humbled by your outpouring of support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️!

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to take some time to express my heartfelt gratitude in the support my practice and I have received, especially in the last few weeks.
Life lessons hit hard, and learning that life truly is short has a way of hitting the hardest.
My goal at Healing Paws has always been to provide compassionate veterinary care while being a small, locally owned hospital.
In doing so, I've had to put some of my most important priorities to the side.
On top of being a business owner and veterinarian, I'm also a mother to 2 beautiful children. They have been nothing but supportive of me chasing my dreams, but in those hard life lessons recently, I've found myself looking back and missing some really important milestones to chase my dreams.

I still want to provide the best in veterinary medicine.
But, I also want to be a present mother.

I say this to announce that Healing Paws Veterinary Center will have new hours of operation Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am -2:00pm.
This will allow me to still provide for you and your family, while also caring for mine.

If you need medication pickup for later evening, please reach out to us. We can get it set up so it gets delivered right to your home.

Thank you for your support and grace.

With love,

Jamie Totten

What a way to end your Friday night other than Penelope's sweet face popping up on your nightly scroll. Say hello! 👋🥰

Hank says "Be sure to eat your veggies, but never eat bones!"

This sweet baby is on the mend after a nice juicy steak bone was accidentally ingested.

Feel better buddy! ❤️

Attention: This sweet baby has some important news to share!

Healing Paws Veterinary Center will be closed from this Friday, June 26th through Friday, July 3rd.

If you are needing prescriptions, now is the time to call.

We are hoping our staff gets some much needed Continuing Education in (and some beach fun as well! 🏖️)

Thank you for your patience and understanding,
