Raymond’s Hair InOvations

This morning when I had coffee on my patio, I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful fragrant Gardenia blossom on my plant! I had purchased this on April 9th is memory of my Mom “Charlotte” this was one of her favorite flowers! When I bought it from Sam’s there was not one bloom on it! I thought I wonder if I can grow this into a beautiful bush just for Mom. So I brought it home and read everything there is to read about Gardenias because most of you know I have a brown thumb not a green thumb! So prayed, “God help me do this in honor of my Mom!” So I have watered it and done exactly what all the horticulturist tell me! And to my surprise it’s working! The plant is a hanging plant so I really have to keep it watered! So with this first bloom, I dedicate it to the Lord! Give Him your first fruits of thy land and He will bless the entire field. So I am declaring that God will bless the works of my hands! For the beauty that He has created and I am tending! Pray that this baby will be a blooming idiot for me! Love to all and Happy Spring!!!

Hey all, i reached a new milestone in my career! This beautiful lady, Ruth Cahall! I’ve done her hair for quite awhile now! Came into the salon to have her hair done for her, get this, her 100th birthday. She is celebrating with a full blown party! She told me 2 years ago that her goal was to make it to 100, so she could get a letter from the President of the Unites States! She proceeded to tell me, ( but I don’t know if I want one from this President!) she still has a lot of s***k to her! She also told me that she gonna have a margarita even if it kills me! Hehehe! This evening starts the Feast of Trumpets! God tells us all to celebrate and hear the sound of the Trumpets! The promise that He will be our provision for the next year! Many think that this is only a Jewish feast. But Gods Word say it is for all believers for all generations!

Today one of my favorite people came to see me cause she just couldn’t find anyone that cut her hair right. She had to come from the nursing home on the little bus. And it was a “Rigamaroll”getting here, she said. But when we got through with her hair she said,”oh heck this was worth it!” She insisted that we go out in the lobby and take our picture. She going to be 90 years old in November and she wanted to look good! I hope I have that much vim and vigor when I get to be 90 years old!

This lady came in with fine straight hair parted down the middle with not a lot of life to her hair. She was ready to cut it all really short. She said her hair lacked any pizzaz! So I gave her a base color that had a little warmth to it and then added some subtle highlights to it. As I rinsed her hair I found all this curl to it! Natural curl! I told her that she had lots of life in her hair! I proceeded to show her how to bring out the curl and life in her hair. She walked out of here a new woman with mid-length hair. Her husband will surely like it!
Men you should vote as well! Curls aren’t for everyone, but if you have trouble straightening you hair you may want to try embracing your curls!
