Well, I’m officially turning the page on this chapter of my life.
My office is officially closed... for the time being, anyway? I honestly don’t know what the future holds for me right now. Hopefully, I can finally put my energy into figuring out my health and, fingers crossed, getting approved for short-term disability.
I’m trying my absolute hardest to stay positive and let the universe take me wherever I’m meant to land. I’d be lying if I said there haven’t been some ugly cries on my living room floor. Other than Zadie, I’ve never poured more of myself, my time, my energy, and my love into something. My business was my second child.
So to every client who trusted me with your body, your stories, your secrets, and pieces of your life-thank you. Truly. And to the people who have helped me financially, mentally, physically, and emotionally while I’ve been at what feels like absolute rock bottom... I will never forget it!!
Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and helping me build something I was so damn proud of!! I genuinely cherish every one of you.
My hope is that someday I’ll be healthy enough to come back to the career I spent years, a ridiculous amount of money, and my entire heart building.
For now, I’m letting go of what I can’t control and trusting that this isn’t the end of my profession.
And to the people who were waiting for my downfall, and the ones I genuinely thought would be the first to pick me up...

Finally a happy health update.
After years of struggling for answers, 12 different specialist, 500 different lab results, handful of ER visits...
I had a childhood friend who is a board certified psychiatric pharmacist of 10+ years (so proud of her) look at my medical records.
Turns out my cortisol levels are 4 times what they should be- pointing at MACS or Cushing's disease. All of the symptoms check the box.
(Basically an adrenal tumor)

The doctors saw these lab results a year ago and told me I was obese and needed to lose weight. Another doctor saw that I wasn't sleeping and crying a lot and diagnosed me with Bipolar Disorder. Obgyn saw the results and said I was menopausal. Every doctor diagnosed me with something else or sent me on my way. I get so dizzy just walking and feel like passing out when I stand up. I was told to "aggressively hydrate".
I haven't been to work in 3 weeks. Afraid once I get better I won't even have a clientele.

I have more lab work to do to rule it out 100%. But I am willing to bet Tessa Callaway is/was correct on her suspicions. I can't thank her enough for ultimately saving my life. I was supposed to start some pretty awful medications with terrible side effects today and I'm glad she came through when she did.
I feel a sense of relief just knowing I'm not a hypochondriac or lazy and something was actually wrong with me.

Quick update for friends, family, and clients:
As many of you know, I’ve been dealing with an ongoing health issue for the past couple of years. I always do my best to push through and be there for my clients, but with some big life changes recently, I need to take a step back.
I’ll be out of the office from today (Wednesday, April 29) through Sunday (May 3) to focus on my mental and physical health.

Hello everyone! Hoping this finds everyone well.
Unfortunately, I have been dealing with some health issues for awhile. Been in and out of the doctors office a lot these past couple weeks. I just wanted to update anyone who has reached out, tried to book, been referred to another LMT, has been met with a reschedule or worse .... 😬

For the next couple weeks I'm going to disable the function on my Square App for requesting approval to book an appointment. I have missed a few notifications and have had clients show up without an appointment and it's coming back on my business and reputation. I absolutely LOVE what I do and hope to continue to be able to provide my services for many years to come. I'm not moving, quitting or taking a break- I'm just not available to drop what I'm doing and rush to my office for appointments like I used to be able to.

Come check out this cute little indoor strip mall- home to several hidden gems. And let me tell you this, they have really made it into a fun little collection of businesses.
(Locally made candles, homemade laundry detergents, body sculpting and skin care, a cute little boutique that also houses a hat bar, DJ services, a party coordinator and GET THIS! There is a suite where they offer nothing but online game tournaments. I had NO idea! 😯)

There will also be other vendors set up in the corridor. I'm personally excited to check out some of these other businesses for myself! I heard straight from the horses mouth ( Morgan Lynn is the horse) there is going to be an IV hydration bar, permanent jewelry, freeze dried treats, a local vineyard, nail art, a ticket drawing and so much more!!
