If the scale jumped after holiday eating, most of the quick gain is usually water retention from salt, carbs, late meals, and poor sleep.

This 3-day reset is designed to calm inflammation, stabilize appetite, and get digestion moving again.

Before you start (quick rules)
• No “detox” starvation. Eat real meals.
• No alcohol for 72 hours.
• Keep dinner earlier if possible (at least 3 hours before bed).
• Aim for a gentle calorie deficit only by cutting snacks and sugary drinks.

Every morning (Days 1–3)
• Drink 25 oz of water right away.
• 10–15 minute easy walk (even indoors).

• Optional doTERRA habit: Lemon in water (follow label; avoid getting citrus oils on skin before sun exposure).

• Protein-first breakfast: 25–40g protein (eggs, turkey, cottage cheese, protein shake) + fruit and/or veggies.

Midday (Days 1–3)
• Lunch formula:
• 1 palm protein (chicken, fish, lean meat, beans)
• 2 fists vegetables/salad
• 1 fist carbs, only if hungry (rice, potato, quinoa, fruit)
• 1 thumb healthy fat (olive oil, avocado, real butter, nuts)
• 10-minute walk after lunch (this is a game-changer for bloating and glucose).

Afternoon (Days 1–3)
• Hydration check: another 25 oz water.
• If snacking is needed: choose ONE

• Screens down 60 minutes before bed if possible
• Dark room + cool temperature
