I have put off making this post for too long now. As many of my family and friends know, I just went through a year long program at HCC Cosmetology. I finished school mid December, passed my state boards and received my Associate of Science degree in Cosmetology! Through my whole journey of being in school and finding my true passion, I have realized that my passion is more geared towards healthcare and helping people to the best of my ability. Hair has always been a hobby of mine growing up. I was always the one who would braid hair for sporting events or school dances. I soon realized halfway through school though, that doing hair is more of just a hobby for me rather than a lifelong career. I have been in healthcare since I was a Freshman in HighSchool. I started out in dietary and absolutely fell in love with the residents. My senior year I got my CNA and my CMA and passed both of those boards. I have been at Pine Village for just over 2 years now. I have slowly learned that being in healthcare and helping people, and caring for those who simply can’t anymore is something I am passionate about and want to continue my education in. I have recently taken a full time position at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge as a CNA. I am also currently looking back into schooling for nursing and furthering my education hopefully in the upcoming Fall. I have felt called to make this post just so everyone is aware that I won’t be in a salon but I greatly appreciate all of the support throughout my journey and I hope for continued support through my upcoming journey to something new. Lastly, for my lovely ladies that came to me and are wanting their hair done, I am more than happy to recommend some people that I went through school with that truly do amazing work if at all interested. Thankyou so much!

Yesterday this sweet girl came in and wanted to go back to her natural! I unfortunately forgot to take a before picture, but this girl had some blonde hair that had grown out quite a bit! I matched her root with a 6 but decided to go a shade lighter. I chose 7Nb and 7N for all over and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the color came out! There are some lighter pieces from the blonde peeking through which made the final result so sun kissed! Thank you Annika for coming to me!🫶

CC came back and wanted more blonde!!! We did just that! Along with a full head highlight, I decided on a root tap and also finish off with toning! Thank you CC for trusting me once again!! You rock the BLONDE🫶🫶

Last Friday I had the chance to do miss Ads hair! She had all virgin hair and wanted to just be brightened up a little bit. I did a full head highlight with a lot of baby lights. We kept it subtle for sure but just enough to brighten it up a bit! Thankful that she came in!!!

Today is my besties birthday, so what better way to spend your birthday than with me getting your hair done?! I did an all over highlight and tone! I ended up toning with my VV and N in shades EQ. We finished off with a trim and style! Thank you Taylor for coming to me! Love you and happy birthday 🫶🕺🏼

Today I got the chance to see my dear friend and past coach from my younger years, Lacey!! I did a heavy highlight and a cool tone! I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out! Thank you Lacey for coming to me!! 🤍

Today a very kind lady came in to get some highlights and nice little trim, and we did just that!! I placed about 15 foils in total and just toned her with purple shampoo! I then just dusted her ends and layers and then finished up with a style! I love how the waves give her so much texture and dimension!! Very happy with the results!

My mom came in today on her birthday!!! I totally forgot to take a before picture but it sure was a transition! We did a root retouch with 7N and 6N and then added around 12 foils of lightener to just add a few more lighter pieces and bring her blonde back up! I finished the look by straightening her very thick curly hair and giving it a much needed trim! Thankyou Mom for coming in! Love you and Happy Birthday!🤍🎈 (excuse my younger sister photo bombing)

This morning a young lady came in to get her hair done before she starts her first year of High School!! She wanted to go back to her natural root but we decided on covering her blonde with a shade or two lighter then her natural color to leave some dimension but get rid of the blonde. Her natural root is a 5 so I went with a 6G and 6NW for her blonde. I finished off this appt with a tiny trim, and style! We are both very happy with how it came out!!

On Monday my friend Kim asked me if I was up for a fun task and of course I said yes!! We used 6R and 5RV all over her existing blonde! Love how it turned out! Thankyou Kim!!
