Walks Of Life
Human Design Life Coach | Helping you trust your energy, honor your yes, and live aligned with who you were designed to be.
What do you do regularly that no longer serves you?
Sometimes a pattern begins because, at one point, it actually worked. It protected us, helped us cope, or simply made sense for who we were then.
But as we grow and expand, the patterns that once served us can become the very things keeping us stuck.
And the mind loves the familiar. It will often choose what it knows over what could bring new life.
So examine your life.
Where are you repeating something simply because it’s what you’ve always done?
What pattern could you let go of that might change everything?
Make room for something new. New rhythms. New choices. New ways of showing up.
We’re here to grow. To expand. To experience more joy, more vitality, and more LIFE.
Maybe it’s time to thank the old pattern for what it gave you—and let it go. 🌱

Why is deconditioning so scary?
Because for many of us, trusting ourselves is unfamiliar.
From a young age, we learned to surrender our authority. Someone else told us what was right, what was wrong, what we should do, and sometimes even why we did what we did.
I know because I did this with my own children. With my older kids, obedience often looked like: “Because I said so.”
But what does that teach a child?
Don’t check in with yourself. Trust the authority outside of you.
Then we grow up and wonder why it feels terrifying to say NO when everyone around us expects a yes.
Deconditioning is learning to check in again.
Am I saying yes because I actually have energy for this?
Or am I being led by guilt, shame, obligation, duty, or sacrifice?
You can deeply love people. You can love serving others. But you don’t have to surrender your authority to do it.
Just because someone has a need doesn’t automatically mean you’re the one designed to meet it.
Start checking in.
Do I have energy for this?
Sometimes reclaiming your authority begins with having the courage to say no. ❤️

What breaks my heart is how few of us get to live as who we truly are.
So many of us make decisions from the mind—trying to earn love, approval, belonging or success.
I’m still learning this too. I still catch myself worrying about what others think and abandoning myself to avoid disappointing people.
Human Design has helped me notice where I’m living from conditioning instead of what’s actually true for me.
Even my environment. I spent years living on the quiet prairie, thinking I should love it. But my design showed me I thrive in “Wet Kitchens”—places with movement, people, creativity and exchange.
Now I’m learning to stop becoming who I think I’m supposed to be and start discovering who I already am.
Maybe that’s what we all need: the freedom to come home to ourselves.

HOW TO LOVE A REFLECTOR 🌙
Give them TIME.
Give them SPACE.
Care about their ENVIRONMENT.
🌙 Give them time.
Don’t pressure a Reflector to make big decisions on your timeline. Encourage them to honor their process, stay connected to the lunar cycle, and allow clarity to unfold. Love doesn’t demand an answer right now.
🌿 Give them space.
Don’t expect them to constantly be in your energy. Being around other people and their energy can be a lot for a Reflector. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is give them permission to step away, be alone, and return when they’re ready.
✨ Care about their environment.
You might walk into a room and feel completely fine while your Reflector feels something entirely different. Don’t tell them, “It’s fine—just stay.” Trust their experience. If the environment or the people in it don’t feel right to them, support their need to leave.
You don’t have to experience what they’re experiencing in order to honor it.
If you love a Reflector, don’t pressure them to stay somewhere they’re experiencing disappointment.
Give them the freedom to find the people, places, and environments where they experience DELIGHT. 🌙
Reflectors, what’s it going to be—disappointment or delight? It’s up to you. 🌙
As a Reflector, your environment matters.
When you’re surrounded by people and environments that are out of alignment, you may find yourself experiencing that familiar feeling of disappointment. You’re sampling and reflecting what’s around you—and sometimes what you’re feeling isn’t actually yours.
But here’s the important part:
You’re not here to fix the environment. You’re here to mirror it.
You get to notice what the environment is showing you.
You get to decide how long you stay.
You get to pay attention to which relationships leave you feeling heavy and which ones bring you alive.
Your delight can become a compass. ✨
Find the people who feel good to be around.
Find the places where your body can settle.
Find the environments where you love what you’re reflecting back.
You don’t have to turn the wrong environment into the right one.
Sometimes you simply need to move.
Because when you have delight, you have LIFE. 🌙
🌙 Reflectors, you need to stop expecting your energy to be consistent.
You’re here to experience and reflect the people and environments around you. And because you’re taking in and amplifying so much, it can be easy to start believing, “This is me.”
You feel amazing — this must be me.
You feel heavy, frustrated, emotional, driven, exhausted, or energized — this must be me.
But what if you’re experiencing and sampling what’s around you?
As a Reflector, your consistency isn’t necessarily going to look the same from day to day. Human Design teaches that your rhythm unfolds through your relationship with the Moon and its roughly 28-day cycle.
As the Moon moves through the gates, different parts of your chart can temporarily become activated. Your experience can shift dramatically throughout that cycle.
So instead of demanding that you feel the same every day, start studying your rhythm.
Download a Human Design app — I have a video pinned at the top of my page showing you how to find a free one — and begin following the transits.
And journal.
Track your energy.
Track your moods.
Track what environments feel good.
Track who you were around.
Track what the Moon was activating.
Over time, you may begin recognizing something underneath all that changing energy:
Your pattern. Your rhythm. Your way of moving through the world.
Reflector, you don’t need consistent energy to know yourself. 🌙
🪞 Reflectors, it’s time to be a SCREEN, not a SPONGE.
With all nine centers open, you’re constantly sampling the energy of the people and environments around you.
The danger is believing everything you feel is yours.
When you become a sponge, you soak it all up. You carry the emotions, pressure, fears, desires, and energy of the people around you—and that can get HEAVY.
But you’re not here to hold it.
You’re here to sample it, experience it, gain wisdom from it, and let it move through.
Be the screen.
Let life pass through you without needing to keep it.
That’s part of the incredible wisdom of the Reflector: you can reflect people and environments back to themselves. And people may be drawn to you because being around you can reveal something about themselves.
But that doesn’t mean everyone gets unlimited access to you.
Learn when to say yes.
Learn when to say no.
Learn when to step away.
Learn which environments feel good in your body—and give yourself permission to leave the ones that don’t.
You don’t have to carry the world to understand it.
Screen it. Sample it. Learn from it. Let it go. 🪞
🌙 Reflectors, you’re about 1 in 100—and your friend is the Moon.
It’s Reflector Week, and one of the most important things you can experiment with is giving yourself time.
In Human Design, Reflectors are taught to wait through roughly a 28-day lunar cycle before making major decisions—not because you’re incapable of knowing, but because clarity can emerge as you experience yourself through the changing lunar cycle.
Someone wants a relationship with you? You don’t have to answer today.
Thinking about moving somewhere new? You don’t have to decide after one visit.
Facing a major life decision? Give yourself permission to experience it from different angles before committing.
You live in a world that will often ask, “So, what’s your answer?”
But you don’t have to borrow someone else’s urgency.
Pay attention to the Moon. Notice what changes. Notice what remains true as you move through the cycle. 🌙
Own your timing. Honor your process. And give yourself the space to discover the delight and surprise that comes from living as yourself.
How to love a Manifestor ❤️
Love them by giving them room to be who they are.
Manifestors aren’t designed to feel controlled, managed, or constantly questioned. They’re here to initiate, move independently, and make an impact.
Three ways to love the Manifestor in your life:
❤️ Honor their autonomy.
Trust them to make their own choices and follow their own direction. Give them room to initiate instead of telling them what they should do.
❤️ Respect their need for rest.
Manifestor energy isn’t designed to be “on” all the time. They may have powerful bursts of energy followed by a real need to pull away, rest, and recharge. Don’t take their downtime personally.
❤️ Support their independence.
Their need for space doesn’t mean they don’t love you. Let them have freedom without guilt. The less controlled they feel, the more naturally they can stay connected.
Loving a Manifestor isn’t about holding them tighter.
Sometimes the greatest expression of love is saying:
“Go be you. I’m not here to control you.”
