Here’s what we used:

Virtue Labs recovery shampoo and conditioner

blow dryer
this blow dryer has an ionic feature that you can turn on or off! On for smooth shiny hair and off for extra volume!

Lottabody which has been around forever and promises to give you smooth hair a lot of hold and without flaking and absolutely delivered!

Willbond Velcro rollers -so large you can set your whole head with only a few of them!

Granteva bonnet hairdryer attachment- honest opinion it has some design flaws. Mainly it gets too hot to be comfortable for the wearer.

Hot Tools 1 1/4 inch curling iron- the BEST for a million reasons!

Honest thoughts on this process:
If you are trying to spare your hair from heat damage and have a LOT of time on your hands this would be a good option because it does take several hours for the hair to dry even with the pre styling rough dry and the heat bonnet. And then letting the set cool down is also time consuming, but mandatory for hold!

I have set hair with Velcro rollers previously but have never tried the lotta body setting gel which I did really love!
In the end I definitely prefer curling iron sets but I did enjoy trying this!
