🌟Everything you need to know about Hairstory’s New Wash
https://www.hairstory.com/?r=68r4hi

✨If staying at home taught us anything, it's that maybe we don't need to wash our hair as much as we do. More and more people have been discovering that frequent shampooing can strip your natural oils.

✨One product that people have been raving about is Hairstory’s New Wash You see, it's not shampoo or conditioner. It's a sulfate-free alternative to shampoo that still conditions. It cleans without detergent, and its natural ingredients never strip away your hair's protective barrier. Users are claiming that this product has made their hair the healthiest it's even been!

✨Curious about New Wash? Here are all your questions answered.

✨How do they know what my hair needs?
Hairstory's knows that everyone has their own unique hair story, and that no two heads of hair are the same. With that in mind, they have a 23-question quiz to help you find which are the right products for you, and how to tailor them for your hair and bring out the best of your hair.

✨They ask questions about what you use to wash your hair, how often you wash it, how soon it gets oily, your hair thickness, texture and length, and what tools you use on your hair. Then, they'll save your answers and use them to decide which of the 3 formulas, and what reorder frequency, makes the most sense for you.

✨What makes it different from my regular shampoo and conditioner?
Most shampoo contains sulfates and other detergents that over-clean your hair- the same detergents found in cleaning products! If it foams, it means it strips away your scalp's natural protective oils, so our body ends up over producing oils in response. Plus, we try to replace some of the moisture that's stripped away by using a conditioner, and our hair is greasy again in no time. Unfortunately, this cycle is not good for your hair.

✨When you think about it, people used to use soap to wash their face before realizing that a gentle cleanser is much better for their skin and won't dry it out. The same applies to your hair and scalp. Shampoo is soap for your hair, and Hairstory is a gentle cleanser.
New Wash's natural ingredients break the vicious cycle and let your scalp calm down, leaving your hair healthier, less frizzy and damaged, and looking way better. Plus, by not using detergents, your color will last longer.

✨What kind of ingredients do they use?
New Wash doesn't have any harsh chemicals. It includes Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, "Jojoba" seed oil, "Evening Primrose" oil, Sunflower seed oil, Peppermint oil, Rose oil, as well as many other non-harmful ingredients for conditioning and strengthening your hair, like keratin. Because of its lack of toxic ingredients, New Wash is certified as inherently biodegradable, too. It's so safe that a lot of parents are comfortable using it on their young children, and even on their face as a cleanser.
How long will it take my hair to get used to it?

✨This solely depends on you and your hair type. If you wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner a few times a week, it could take a few washes for your hair to fully transition to not using it. Some people have no transition issues, but on average it can take 2-4 weeks of using New Wash ‘til the results are fully set in.
People with thick or curly hair may have more ease making the switch, whereas those with finer and oiler hair tend to have a longer transition period, but boy is it worth it in the end! Users report the shiniest, healthiest hair they've ever had!
How much does it cost?
It costs $40 for 8 oz., which may seem like a lot, but that one bottle lasts a whole 50 days on average. Plus, you're going from two hair products (shampoo & conditioner) to one, and your hair will be much healthier and less frizzy, so no need to use any hair masques or deep conditioners. Plus, you won't find yourself needing to buy expensive hair masks and detanglers. Overall, you'll end up saving money on hair products! The larger sizes will also save you %!

✨How do the refills work?
Hairstory, has a Refill Club, where members can subscribe and get a discount on their New Wash, plus free shipping! Refill Club members receive an aluminum refillable container equipped with a convenient pump dispenser. Every 10-14 weeks you'll be sent a pouch to refill your bottle. So it's convenient, and it means 63% less plastic consumption.
What other products do they offer?
Hairstory also has some styling products available...
* Hair Balm allows anyone with dry hair to moisturize and add weight to their naturally textured hair. It's a favorite for anyone with curly hair.
* Undressed Texturizing Spray gives your hair that texture for sexy, weightless, beachy waves without being dry and gritty!
* Dressed Up protects your hair from heat when styling.
* Lift Volume Spray makes your hair look full and voluminous!
* Wax is a hat-proof, water-resistant shape-shifting styling product that'll hold your hair in place.
* Lastly, Powder is natural translucent dry shampoo, ideal to help assist you during your hair's transition period! It has no talc and it's not an aerosol, so it's still environmentally friendly.
If you'd like to treat your hair better, reduce the amount of products you use, and have the healthiest hair of your life, New Wash is your answer. Try it, you won't regret it!

Hello there! 🎃

We have been back in the salon for a full 3 months now and time is just flying by! Can’t believe it’s almost September! 🍁

I want to say thank you🙏🏼 for everyone’s kindness and cooperation through all of this. We truly appreciate each and everyone of you! From your kindness to us, to your thoughtfulness to all the other clients I couldn’t ask for this to have gone any better. Thank you. 🙏🏼

We are still following all of Mass.gov guidelines and recommendations. Everyone is wearing masks, clients and all staff. 😷 Continuing to adhere to 6 feet apart and asking that everyone text or call when they arrive. If anyone has a health condition, can’t wear a mask or needs to be extra careful , We have decided to designate the back room for this purpose for the time being. Please let Kathy or I know before hand so we can book the space accordingly.
We will continue to have 1-2 people working at a time. There is never more than 6 people in the space at a time, all masked and social distanced.
We still need a little extra time for cleaning and sanitizing, please bare with us, as sometimes we run behind a bit. Please do your best to be on time and we appreciate your cooperation if we have you waiting a few extra minutes.
Please remember to bring a disposable mask when having color as it has been increasingly difficult to provide disposable masks. 😷
As we head into the “flu” and cold🤧season we ask that everyone continue to monitor your health. Please reschedule if you are feeling sick or been around anyone with symptoms. We will do the same. Please, take your temperature before arriving 🤒
Daily we clean and sanitize and weekly we have a deep cleaning of the salon. Bathrooms are deep cleaned morning and evening as well as cleaned through out the day. You are welcome to use the restroom while here.

We have been back to blow drying as of July 1. (I know this makes some of you very happy☺️)

Thank you, we will continue to do our best to keep y’all safe while visiting Cheveux and doing what we can to accommodate those who need special accommodation. If you have any question or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you! Stay safe and healthy🙏🏼💗

🌸Update on Salon Reopening🌸

🎉Whoo hoo y’all! We finally have a reopening date!!👏🏼

We can reopen as of Monday, May 25th!! With this comes a lot of rescheduling and changes unfortunately. Please bear with us at this time.
We will do our best to get everyone scheduled as soon as possible.
We have decided that we will be doing haircuts, shampoos and color appointments only at this time. We will not be adding Blow dries or treatments till July 1. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but feel it’s our best way to get everyone in who has been waiting since March 23rd.
We have also decided that there will be only 2 stylists working per day so this limits our days available in the salon. Each stylist will have 2 clients in the salon at a time, still keeping 6 feet apart for social distancing and our limit will still be 6-8 people in the salon at a time. This is still under the 10 people limit.
Our aesthetician, Samantha, when working is behind a closed door and Sheri, our Nail technician is unable to return to the salon in this phase of reopening.
We are Not permitted to provide waxing, lip or brow, beard trimming or manicuring in this phase.

Please remember when coming in for your scheduled appointment 🌟

1. We ask that if you have any symptoms at all or have had any known contact with covid-19 we ask that you reschedule your appointment.
2. We ask that you remain in your car, text or call us when you arrive and we will message you when we are ready for you to come in.
3. We ask that you wash your hands when you enter the salon. Please keep your belongings to a minimum and with you at all times.
4. We ask that no extra visitors come along for the appointment. Only the person having the service will be allowed. If your not comfortable with your child entering alone, please reschedule their appointment.
5. We will need extra time between clients to wipe down and disinfect used areas.
6. Wearing a mask is essential, however sometimes difficult while having your service done. Please take note and plan accordingly. Masks that loop behind the ear are best as the tie in back will interfere with your service. Gloves are not recommended.
7. We will Not be offering magazines, coffee ,water, snacks at this time. You may bring water in a closed bottle. Please refrain from bringing in any food.
8. Please take your temperature before coming to the appointment. Kindly reschedule if any fever or symptoms are present. We will be asking everyone to sign a waiver upon arrival.
9. Services will not be offered to or given by anyone who is sick or exhibiting signs of illness. If you have been exposed to or have been sick please reschedule your appointment for 10-14 days after feeling better.

We will each be in touch to reschedule or adjust your existing appointments as soon as possible! Please reach out if you do not hear from us in the next couple of days!

🌸We are so happy to return to the salon and We look forward to seeing each and everyone of you and getting our hands in your hair!😉

Thank you all for your loyalty and support! You have all been amazing throughout this experience!!💗🙏🏼

🌸Hi y’all!🌸

I have to say, We really miss seeing all of you! I’m sure your hair is missin Us! 😳

I know everyone is anxious to get back to the salon and get all fixed up, we are just as anxious to make you all look your best again.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have any more information at this time. We are still waiting to hear what the Governor says Monday May 18 to see how and when we are able to reopen. We are hoping we will will be in phase 1, but still have no idea what phase 1 consists of or reopening date. If anyone scheduled in the month of May wants to reschedule, please feel free to contact me and I’ll be happy to give you a date for my next available appointment.

I have gotten information that it looks as though we will not be able to blowdry clients when we first reopen. This could help and may change appointment times, as I may be able to fit more clients in. I will make sure to send out another message as soon as I hear the update Monday so we can plan accordingly.
I have gathered all the supplies and made adjustments to the salon that I am aware of at this time so hopefully the transition back to work will be some what smooth and quick!

Thank you all for your loyalty and support! We truly appreciate you all!!💗🙏🏼
