Thanks for your support!

Dear Secret of Essence Family,

**Thank you for 34 incredible years.**

It is difficult to put into words what it means to have spent more than three decades doing something I truly love — and to have had so many of you along for the journey.

And before I say anything else, I want you to know:

**Secret of Essence is still here. We are open for business — we're simply online for now.**

You can continue shopping for the fragrances you know and love through our website. **Shipping and local pickup are available**, and we have many exciting things planned as we move into this next chapter.

Some of you have been with Secret of Essence for decades. I have watched your families grow. Some of you brought your children to me, and then those children became customers themselves. You've introduced your friends, coworkers and family members to Secret of Essence. You've trusted my recommendations, discovered signature scents with me, and returned year after year for the fragrances you love.

**Thank you. Truly.**

Your support helped a small fragrance business become something that has lasted for 34 years, and I will never take that for granted.

As I depart from our location at The Mall at Prince George's, I want you to know one thing above everything else:

**Secret of Essence is not closing.**

We're changing.

And I believe this is only the beginning of something even better.

If you know Victoria, then you already know that her vision was always much bigger than the barriers of a mall location. There are ideas I've wanted to explore, things I've wanted to create, and ways I've wanted to serve you that simply needed more room to grow.

Now I finally have the opportunity to do that.

Before making any major decisions about our next physical location, I am giving myself some time to **recalibrate, reorganize and thoughtfully create the next chapter of Secret of Essence.**

I am considering a smaller and more personal space where I can eventually offer fragrance consultations, pickups and special experiences on select days or weekends. I'm not rushing that decision. When I find the arrangement that feels right for Secret of Essence and for me, you'll be among the first to know.

# # # In the meantime, we're still here.

Our website is currently being updated, and I have some exciting plans for what you'll find there — better sampling opportunities, special discounts, new products, fragrance experiences and some things I'm not ready to tell you about just yet.

And I haven't forgotten about my customers who still want to pick up their fragrances locally.

# # # Local Pickup

**Prepaid orders will be available for local pickup on Thursdays and Fridays.**

Our regular pickup window will generally be between **3:00 and 6:00 p.m.** at a designated neutral pickup location. Earlier or more flexible pickup arrangements may also be available by appointment.

Once your prepaid order is ready, we will confirm your pickup location and available pickup details.

And if you'd rather have your fragrances delivered right to your door, we're making that easier too.

# # # FREE SHIPPING

**Spend $40 or more and use code FREESHIP at checkout for free shipping.**

This transition gives me an opportunity to rethink the Secret of Essence experience — from how you sample fragrances to how you shop, how we reward our longtime customers, and how I introduce you to what's coming next.

So please stay connected.

**Keep shopping. Keep smelling good. And keep watching.**

Because after 34 years, I am not walking away from something I love.

**I'm giving it room to become what I always knew it could be.**

Thank you for believing in Secret of Essence.

Thank you for believing in me.

And most of all, **thank you for 34 years of allowing me to be a part of your lives through fragrance.**

We're still here.

**The Secret is still in the Essence.**

With love and my deepest gratitude,

**Victoria**
