Twist are twist but with the dry the hair stretched out showing length whereas the wet hair has shrinkage and appears to be shorter. However in time the dry hair will shrink to natural state and give a fuller look as the hair get old and swells up. But wet hair will be fat and swollen from beginning to end giving a full head look.

Your hair does not have to be damaged in order for you to cut them down. With length comes weight!
