I'm just going to drop this here in honor and support of the current lawsuit Idaho is facing for trying to keep us from our birth given rights!
I was reported by a "family" member a few months ago to the Idaho Board for braiding and promoting ethnic hair care.

One of many things important to our cultural identity is, our hair. Our hair is considered sacred and significant to who we are as an individual, family, and community.

He came home after a catastrophe touched his hair with scissors this past weekend!

Apparently it was supposed to be a mohawk...
My heart felt his pain. He reached for his team and didn't feel them. He was not happy... Poor little man. 😭🙏🏾
I called upon our ancestors and his guides and angels. They assisted through the process and helped us make good of what we had been given.

And together, as always, we prevailed. His braids may have to wait now, but as long as I can get him to be the handsome, smiling, strong warrior that I know he is daily, then I'm doing my job.
It's amazing what a difference a haircut can be for us. ESPECIALLY when we know the spiritual power held and the records we can access in each strand!
