The Reset Therapy
MOVE FREELY. EXERCISE WITH A PURPOSE. Body Pain Therapist - In Person/ Online
✨ INTRODUCING: RESET EXERCISE THERAPY ✨
Something new is coming to The Reset Therapy.
Reset Exercise Therapy is a personalized approach that combines hands-on bodywork + targeted mobility + integrative exercise to help you understand and improve the way YOUR body moves.
But you might be wondering…
“Isn’t that just personal training?”
Not exactly.
A personal trainer primarily helps you build fitness, strength, endurance, and performance.
“So is it physical therapy?”
Not quite.
Reset Exercise Therapy is not a replacement for physical therapy or medical care. Instead, it focuses on movement quality, mobility, body awareness, and creating better movement strategies for everyday life.
We look at how you move before deciding what you need.
Then we use:
✨ Joint mobilization
✨ Targeted stretching
✨ Mobility work
✨ Integrative exercises
✨ Movement retraining
✨ Hands-on techniques
Everything is selected around your body and your movement patterns.
So instead of being handed a generic exercise program, you learn why your body is moving the way it is—and what you can do about it.
Because sometimes you don’t need to work harder.
You need to move better first.
Welcome to Reset Exercise Therapy. 🤍

YOUR FASCIA & YOUR LYMPHATIC SYSTEM — THEY’RE MORE CONNECTED THAN YOU THINK.
Have you ever felt like your body is holding onto tension, feels puffy, stiff, or just doesn’t move the way it should?
Your fascia is a connective tissue network that surrounds and connects your muscles, organs, nerves, and blood vessels.
When fascia becomes tight, dehydrated, or restricted, the tissues around it may not move as freely.
And because lymphatic flow is influenced by muscle movement, breathing, and changes in tissue pressure, restricted movement can make fluid movement less efficient.
This is why I don’t look at just the area where someone feels discomfort.
I look at the whole body. 👀
Posture.
Movement.
Mobility.
Strength.
Breathing.
Tissue quality.
And how everything is connected.
Sometimes, improving the mobility of the fascia and surrounding tissues can make a big difference in how the body moves and feels.
That’s where myofascial release + movement + proper assessment can become powerful tools.
✨ Your body already has incredible systems designed to move fluid and eliminate waste.
Our job is to help create an environment where those systems can work efficiently.

FEELING RESTRICTED DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN YOU ARE RESTRICTED.
A client recently told me that when he worked on a specific shoulder muscle with a massage gun, his rib discomfort improved and he could do his exercises with significantly less restriction.
That tells us something important:
The sensation of restriction isn’t always coming from the area that feels restricted.
Sometimes your nervous system is protecting an area because of sensitivity, previous injury, or repeated movement patterns.
So instead of only asking:
“Where does it hurt?”
I want to know:
“Why is your body creating this response?”
Manual therapy can change the input.
Movement and exercise can build confidence and control.
The goal isn’t to constantly fix your body.
The goal is to help your body move better and feel safe doing it.
That’s the Reset. 🤍

• Reset with Foam Roller •
One of the questions I get asked the most is:
"What can I do at home to keep feeling good after my session?"
My answer is almost always the same...
Foam roll. (Among other things)
Foam rolling is one of the easiest ways to help your body recover and maintain the progress we make during therapy.
Whether you're an athlete, weekend warrior, or simply someone who wants to move without pain, regular foam rolling can help:
✅ Reduce muscle tightness and stiffness
✅ Improve mobility and range of motion
✅ Increase blood flow to muscles and fascia
✅ Speed up recovery after workouts or long days on your feet
✅ Help you become more aware of areas that need attention
Think of it as maintenance, not treatment.
Your therapy sessions help restore how your body moves. Foam rolling helps you maintain those changes so your body doesn't return to the same patterns that created discomfort in the first place.
Just 5–10 minutes a day can make a huge difference.
At The Reset Therapy, my goal isn't just to help you feel better during your appointment—it's to give you the tools to keep your body moving well every day.
Because the more you invest in your body between sessions, the longer your results will last.
✨ Move freely. Exercise with a purpose.
✨ Your knee isn’t always the problem.
A client came in with recurring knee pain. She also mentioned that her hips always felt tight and that her ankle would roll outward whenever she walked.
At first glance, it sounds like three separate issues.
But they were all connected.
The body is one system. When the hips lose mobility, the knee often has to compensate. When the knee isn’t moving well, the ankle changes its mechanics to make up for it. Over time, those compensation patterns can lead to discomfort, instability, and recurring pain.
Instead of only working on the knee, I focused on releasing the muscles and fascia surrounding the hips, quads, shins, and ankles. The goal was to improve hip mobility, restore better movement through the entire chain, and help reduce the stress being placed on the knee and ankle.
This is why I don’t chase pain—I look for the reason the pain is there.
At The Reset Therapy, every session is about finding the weak links, restoring movement, and helping your body function as one connected system.
Because when you treat the cause, not just the symptom, lasting change becomes possible.
**• RESET YOURSELF • **
One of the biggest things I teach my clients at The Reset Therapy is this:
Your body responds to what you do consistently—not just what happens during your appointment.
🚶 Have I gone for a walk today?
🧘 Have I spent 5–10 minutes working on my mobility?
💪 Have I done the strengthening exercises from my program?
🌀 Have I used a foam roller or massage ball to release tight areas?
💧 Have I been drinking enough water?
😴 Have I given my body enough rest to recover?
Sometimes your body isn't asking for another massage.
Sometimes it's asking for movement.
Even when you're:
🏡 At home
🏋️ At the gym
🏖️ On vacation
✈️ Traveling for work
A few minutes of intentional movement can make a huge difference.
At The Reset Therapy, my goal isn't to have you dependent on me.
My goal is to help you understand your body, know what it needs, and give you the confidence to take care of it wherever you are.
Because the more you learn to help yourself, the stronger, healthier, and more resilient your body becomes.
Movement is medicine—but only if you use it.
❤️ Save this post for the next time your body feels stiff, and remember: sometimes the best treatment starts with moving.
• RESET YOUR STIFF BODY •
If you spend hours sitting at a desk, driving, or watching TV, your body can start to feel tight, achy, and sluggish.
Most people think they need to hold long stretches to feel better.
But there's another option: dynamic stretching.
Dynamic stretching is simply moving your joints and muscles through their natural range of motion with gentle, controlled movements.
Think:
✔️ Shoulder rolls
✔️ Arm circles
✔️ Standing hip circles
✔️ Marching in place
✔️ Leg swings
✔️ Gentle torso rotations
These movements help:
✅ Increase blood flow
✅ Reduce stiffness from sitting
✅ Wake up your muscles
✅ Improve mobility
✅ Help you move more comfortably throughout the day
You don't have to spend 30 minutes exercising.
Even 2–5 minutes of movement every hour or two can help your body feel more energized and less stiff.
At The Reset Therapy, we believe movement is one of the best tools for keeping your body healthy. Small, consistent movement throughout the day can make a bigger difference than most people realize.
Your body wasn't designed to stay in one position all day—it was designed to move.
