Getting to be creative and make people smile is hands down my favorite part of my job. This little ray of sunshine is my adorable niece Abani. I’m so proud of her! She usually cuts her hair which leaves me no other choice but to even things up and sometimes have to cut it pretty short. I made a deal with her that I would color her hair if she wouldn’t cut her hair. Well for her SWEET 16 in a few weeks she got a sassy new cut and color!

I used socolor 5MR, 1/2 oz 4N, w/ and smidge 4RB 10 vol. .studio

Using a balayage pattern I applied joico blonde lift 40 vol with I alternated joico Color Intensity 2 parts PINK w/ 1 part PEWTER and BLUSH PINK. We added some baby lights and cleaned up her layers. This cute girl wants to grow her hair out so I’ve got her coming back in 6 weeks to clean up her ends again. *FUN FACT: it actually helps in the growth process if you clean up those ends every 6-8 weeks along with your healthy products daily. @ Idaho Falls, Idaho
