Art is creating something that wasn’t there before..
My client was ready to go back to her roots. The issue was her roots are the whitest white I’ve ever seen, and her ends were over a decade of black box dye. I gave her the bad news first…not gonna happen in one day, or with traditional color. It’ll take forever and longer to remove enough color from those ends to match her growth. And the amount of time and money damage to her hair while pursuing this wasn’t gonna be in her best interest. But then I pitched a wild idea…I needed to know if she was ok with imperfect? Did she want to keep her rock vibe while growing out? Could she come@back every 6 weeks for awhile? Yes yes yes. So I pulled extensions from my toolbox and did in fact give her swaths of white throughout her entire head…diffusing the line of growth, giving her a true glimpse of her future with white hair…and keeping her rockstar vibe while we do it. And so we created this look to start her long journey home to herself.

How I adore a woman who speaks her truth through her hair… and gives me creative freedom to help her express just that. it’s an honor to create art on the artist, thank for choosing me ✨
