This award say "Directors acute Take II", NOT Armon Lasker. Now way do we win this without a solid team. I thank everyone who had/has a hand in creating the Best Passenger Experience. I Cannot do it alone. With that being said, We are STILL looking for qualified Barbers, Nail Technicians, Massage Therapists, Bartenders, Shoe shine and Tennis shoe restoration techs.

From cutting in bathrooms and kitchens to creating lasting experiences inside the airport in my hometown. Winners of the "Best Passenger Experience" in the U.S.A. in our 1st year. "Somebody said it couldn't be done, be HE with a chuckle replied". Let me be a testimony... Never let anyone tell you what you can and can't do or what you should or shouldn't do. That is folks projecting their fears on you. I thank my Mother for throwing those clippers on the couch at 17 three months from graduation. I told her I didnt know what I was doing and she said "You'll figure it out" as she walked in her room and closed the door. I thanked her for everything as I was opening my 1st shop and she told me "All praises be to God". I thank God for giving me the strength and courage to face every obstacle in my life for I could not do it alone.

With the good comes the bad… Thursday night I found out that we are finalists for the best Passenger experience throughout all the airports in the country. Our pipes burst inside of our KCI location on Tuesday and that’s the price of doing business. If you know me, we lost everything in a flood in 2017 before we came to the Historic 18th & Vine Jazz District I didn’t let the flood stop me then, and frozen pipes won’t stop me now. I thank EVERYONE who reached out to check on me and everyone that did, heard the upbeat tone in my voice. I’ve claimed everything I have, trust me. That Best Passenger Experience is coming home to KC. Take II will be down for a week, but the 18th st location will STILL Get you Fly before you Fly out💪🏾 We are in a league of our own in real life👀
