I wanted to post and apologize to the clients I made last year.
Mid December, I got violently sick, pushed myself back to work too soon.

My last day in the salon was December 17th, and I went to the hospital, at 12am Saturday, with half my throat swallowen shut.

By Tuesday the 33rd, I was put on an LOA by the DM, under the guies of "saving my job". The same day my father died. I told my DM. But by then, anyone I worked with was already told not to connect me.

Christmas and New year's and a yearly trip, scheduled before I even started my position at HC, I get an email saying I've abandoned my job.

I spent weeks trying to contact HR, trying to advocate for myself, with no response. LOA services saying I needed a doctor's release to return to work, and being pushed out of my job for asking for HR information.

I loved getting to have an impact on newer graduates joining the industry.

I love doing hair and miss being behind the chair, but I dont love the way the industry is conducting itself.

Ive been licensed for almost 10 years and im sadden to say Im not currently doing hair and dont have foreseeable plans to get back behind the chair.

I apologize for being silent. Im currently on an LOA from work. Due to a sudden death in the family, following the flu, I'm currently unaware of when ill be returning to work ❤️ I appreciate my clients who reached out and apologize to those I havent messaged back. Ill keep you guys posted
