So I’m not going anywhere…. Haha explanation to follow…. I know a lot of you will be happy! I’m sure many of you saw my post the other day when I said I wanted to leave doing hair and travel. I think I’m feeling impulsive and eager to take some vacations. I thought I had found a way to make passive income to allow me to travel and take some time away from the chair, but I was wrong unfortunately. Sometimes being an entrepreneur is hard when we try something new and we have to say you know what I was wrong simultaneously I love doing hair and can’t imagine not doing hair so I’m not going anywhere at least not for now..

Many of my friends in the hair industry are leaving right now our industry has become unbearably expensive to operate in, and we have all taken major pay cuts to continue our careers and our passion. I’ve increased my pricing to balance this issue, but I cannot increase my pricing enough to keep up with inflation without making it unreasonable for you all as clients. This is just the honest truth.

As my Salon lease expiration comes up in the fall. I am unsure if I will move or stay in the same area traffic in the Indian Trail area has been a big challenge you all as clients.

I say all of this to provide explanation as to why I am adjusting my initial announcement and providing you guys a little bit of insight into the truth about how all of us as hairstylist are kind of feeling in this economic climate. We love what we do, but a lot of us are seeking second jobs for financial security or healthcare access.

Though I do not follow a religion, I trust that God has a plan and I am doing my best to let go and let things fall into place as they should.

This post is not intended to be sad. It’s simply intended to shed some light on my previous announcement. I will probably remove this post after some of you guys get a chance to read it because you all as my current clients know me and deserved an explanation ❤️

Being a hairstylist has been an amazing adventure in itself and I am very grateful to each of you! This is not goodbye forever but a fair well for now. I am pausing my career to travel and seek adventure for a while. How long? I do not know! If you have an appointment with me currently, do not worry I am still finishing those up! But then im off to see the world for a bit 🥹🥰❤️

Thank you to each of you who have supported me over the last 6 years! You have no idea how grateful I am to have had each experience behind the chair and I look forward to seeing each of you in passing in our community or social media.

What is this look and how to ask for it:
Face framing layers, curtain bangs, medium amount of layers throughout.

Can I do this with my hair?? : we can tailor this look to most hair but be mindful that the look varies strongly on density (thickness) of your hair.

My hair is super fine but I want this: We usually tailor this look for my fine hair lower density beauties by sticking with curtain bangs and faceframe with minimal layers in the back. This protects your perimeter (bottom edge) from becoming weak by being too thin and whispy causing split ends.

Haircuts are always carefully tailored to hair type.
