Today, I was walking back to the house from the barn and saw Old Glory gently blowing in the breeze.
Today is about gratitude.
Today is about thanking and remembering all of the Veterans who have served this country, and made the ultimate sacrifice.🇺🇸
I come from a family rooted deeply in military service. My grandfather, uncles, cousins, bonus dads, and my dad are all Veterans--and even my own daughter. But today I want to especially thank the ones who are no longer with us—their sacrifice, courage, and commitment mean more than words can fully express.
Today, I pause, and may we all pause, to honor all of those who have completed their service, to remember the ones we have lost, and lift up the families who carry their legacy forward.
