Here we are halfway through the week which means it’s: Wellness Wednesday.

Just wanted to check in with you, my friends, and bring you a little reminder. Wellness isn’t just about taking care of your body. It’s taking care of the woman inside of it, too. Rest when you need to. Move because it feels good. Eat to nourish yourself. Protect your peace. And give yourself grace along the way. I’m leaning heavy into the fact that I don't have to “earn” rest, confidence, or kindness toward myself. I deserve, and you deserve, all three.

—Small Town Saturday + Sunday Shine—

Sometimes growth looks a little wild. These pumpkin vines have been thriving. And honestly, they’re a pretty good reminder for me. Growth doesn't always happen neatly. It doesn't always happen on our timeline. And sometimes, what starts as something small takes off in ways we never expected. That's a lot like life. Our roots matter, but our roots don't have to limit how far we grow. So this weekend, I choose to pause and appreciate the growth. I love what's growing in my garden, but I want to focus instead on what's growing in me, around me, and within the communities I’m blessed to be part of. Midwest Made: Big Dreams, Small Town Roots is a reminder that where you start doesn't determine where you can go. Sometimes you just need a little faith, a little patience, and room to grow.

Before the day closes I wanted to check in because today is Shine Anyway Friday. And today’s discussion is geared to all of the ladies out there. The theme is Give Yourself Credit.

We, myself included, are often so focused on where we’re going that we forget to look back at how far we’ve come. Maybe you’re not where you thought you’d be by now. Maybe you think there’s still a long way to go. Maybe the dream looks completely different than it did a year ago. But look at you. You’re still here. Still growing. Still trying. Still dreaming👏🏼 Today, don’t move the goalpost. I want you to pause long enough to recognize something you’ve already accomplished. You deserve to celebrate the woman who kept going to become the woman you’re becoming. Shine anyway. And give yourself some credit today.

Thankful Thursday

Sometimes the greatest blessing isn't where the journey takes you…it’s who you meet along the way. I’m incredibly thankful for the people and communities who continue to welcome me, open the doors I never imagined or even thought possible, and those who give me the opportunity to serve and make a difference along the way. 💙 Every connection, every conversation, and every opportunity to show up and serve is something I’ll never take for granted. Ian gave me the biggest hug, and took the time to thank me after he came off stage. I’ll never forget that. Who is someone you're especially thankful for this week? Wellness Wednesday: Every Body Is Worth Loving

Let's talk about something I think we sometimes get wrong about wellness: You can love your body exactly where it is AND still want to change it. We all come in different shapes and sizes. Your worth has absolutely nothing to do with the number on the scale. At the same time, I'm choosing to continue working toward a healthier version of me. But it’s not because I hate the woman I see in the mirror, but because I love her enough to keep taking care of her. ❤️

Over the last 10 years, I've lost 85 pounds through a sustainable approach that includes nutrition, strength training, walking, and making healthier choices that I can actually live with. And I'm not finished. I still have goals I'm working toward, but I'm not putting my life, my confidence, or my happiness on hold until I reach them. I can celebrate the 85 pounds I've already lost and keep working toward the next 20. Both things can be true. Your body doesn't have to be “finished” to be worthy of celebration. Move your body because you love it, not because you hate it.

Midwest Motivation & Titleholder Tip Tuesday

I missed Midwest Motivation Monday, so we’re doubling up today. Here’s your reminder: you don’t have to be perfect to keep moving forward. Sometimes being a titleholder looks like this. 🦆😂☕️ No glam squad. No stage lights. No crown. Just showing up, doing the work, and taking care of what’s been entrusted to you. And honestly? That’s the titleholder tip.

My title doesn’t make me more important than anyone else. It gives me an opportunity to serve, connect, encourage, and show people that I can be both a dreamer and a doer. The crown is an accessory. My character and who I am is the real title. And so what if yesterday didn't go exactly as planned? Give yourself some grace, reset, and keep going. So whatever is on your to-do list today just put your boots on and show up.

Sometimes the sweetest blessings are the little moments we never want to end. 💕 Soaking up this Sunday with my granddaughter and thanking God for the gift of family.

SHINE ANYWAY FRIDAY ✨ So, not every day is polished. Not every plan goes perfectly. And not every moment looks like the picture you imagined. But ya know what? Shine anyway. 💁🏻‍♀️ Show up with what you have, and do what you can. Keep moving forward. Don’t wait until everything is “perfect” to let yourself be proud of how far you've come. Sometimes the most beautiful kind of confidence is simply saying: “This isn't perfect… but I'm showing up anyway.”
