(Steve’s wife) Here I am at age 18 years old. I graduated, I loved beauty, but I was reserved and not the best problem solver. My confidence was low, and of course I was inexperienced. Did you know I actually joined MARY KAY at age 18. Lol 😆 It lasted 4 months. From that experience, I decided I would not be able to do Mary Kay or anything like it. I just wasn’t good at sales! I didn’t like the way it made me feel because I felt like people ran from me. (because I was trying to sell them some thing) So that was that! Who would’ve known that 13 years later I would join MARY KAY. (For the 2nd time) A mother of four children, many many things on my plate. Still not a sales person! Still afraid of people running from me! But I “suited up” and showed up, and became the confident woman I am today. MaryKay is a process of personal growth. You learn by doing, failing, feeling, scared, stretched beyond your comfort zone, getting back up, THEN come together with the sisterhood of Mary Kay and THE PROCESS is designed to build your confidence, and grow you…Until you become who God has created you to be! A proverbs 31 woman.
