Please sign & share! The health & safety of both the stylist & the general public should be a top priority. Sanitation & book work were 99% of what we are taught in beauty school. It had nothing to do with the creative ability to do hair & everthing to do with sanitation, chemistry, muscles of the body, anatomy etc...
This is something I’m super concerned about & you should be too. Disease, illness, bugs and much more could be transmitted if someone is uneducated. Proud to be a professional cosmetologist & I’ll fight hard to keep this bill from going any further.

To my people: You are dearly missed & on my mind. Here’s a quick update. In Marion County personal services including hair salons must remain closed though May 31st as of right now. There will be an update in 2 weeks to determine if they may resume on June 1st. I’m in the middle of contacting everyone to cancel if you have an appointment with me. If you haven’t heard from me yet, please be patient with me. It can be overwhelming. I will only start rebooking when I have a definite reopening date as I don’t want to have to cancel anymore. I understand that this is very big inconvenience for many but it is necessary. Believe me, I want to be back behind my chair doing what I love but only when it’s safe.
