My sweet little Noa Jair. My gentle reminder that God hears my prayers. My testimony that God is still healing wombs. My reminder of Gods word to rest in Him always, especially in seasons that He calls for my stillness.
God has already shown me so much through you, yet we still have a lifetime to go. I cant wait to see where life likes youā¤ļø

If I could sum up what this current season of my life has looked and felt like in one quote, it would be this oneā¦
āTransformation isnāt sweet and bright. Itās a dark and murky, painful pushing. An unraveling of the untruths youāve carried in your body. A practice in facing your own created demons. A complete uprooting, before becoming.ā Victoria Erickson
Whew girrrrrrllaaaaaaa, A šš¾ WORDšš¾!
And if I can be completely transparent for a second, itās something Iāve been fighting against for a while. But thereās something about the surrender that leads to becoming. The surrender that leads to transformation and results in becoming who weāre called to be.
Though itās not always easy to do, itās easily become one of my greatest accomplishments⦠my biggest grace. That despite who I was, I still became who I am⦠thanks to whoās I am.
And from me to myself⦠š£ BIHH YOU DOIN A GOOD JOB!! šš¾šš¾šš¾

Whatās the first thing you think of when you hear āwilderness seasonā?
Maybe you think of isolation? Maybe loneliness? Maybe you think of fending for yourself? Maybe grind mode? Maybe growth? Maybe nothing actually comes to mind at all.
While some of those things may be true of our wilderness seasons, and others of them not so much. Here is one truth you can definitely hold on to about ALL our wilderness seasonsā¦. They are purposed for our victories!
How do we know this?!
We see this in Exodus 14 when God is bringing the Israelite people out of bo***ge from Pharaoh and the Egyptians.
He deliberately uses the wilderness that He sends them into as a catalyst to not only hide and protect the Israelites from their adversaries, but to completely demolish their enemies all together.
Now what if it told you that God wants to do that same thing for you š§ā¦ would that change your perspective on your wilderness season?

I heard my good sis SJR make this comment in a sermon I was watching this morning called āShadows of Greatnessāāsidenote: if you havenāt watched this yet, go find it on YouTube cause it was a woooooorrdddd honey š©šš¾ā
Anywho, it stirred up in my spirit a reminder for just how important that is to do in our daily lives. Itās soo easy to forget to create a space for God when we have so many other things going on in our lives; marriages/relationships, children, jobs, finances, home duties, carpool, etc., the everyday hustle and bustle of moving parts that make up our days. That by the time we think of God, our day has finished and we are too tired to fully commit creating space for one more thing in our day.
Iāve been there and know the beginning to the end of that story sis š„“. Trusting God to āknow my heartā and vowing to make time for Him tomorrow, when itās more convenient. Yet the truth is, when tomorrow comes, the intentionality of the commitment I vowed to make fades and Iām back at square one⦠attempting to catch the balls life throws at me in the newness of another day.
I finally began to create a specific space for God at the start of my day, giving Him my first fruits. In doing that, I found, not only did it help to be able to handle what life was going to throw at me throughout the day, but it allowed me to see and experience Him more as well. In a way that didnāt necessarily feel like I was creating a space for Him, but that He was allowing me a fresh, new access to Him. I began going from looking for Him, to Him just showing up lol!
That alone helped me to walk with more peace, joy, and empowerment throughout my day; knowing that I wasnāt walking alone but with someone who had already gone before me and prepared my way for the day. *queues Fat Joe- All The Way Up*
I encourage you to take time to create a space and environment for God to meet you in today, because He is waiting and longing to help you with all youāre facing. And much like with me, He has gone before you today and prepared your wayā¤ļø

The key to getting through the trials and tribulations of life isnāt just coming out the other side of them unscathed. More times than not, itās about what God is able to produce in the midst of the storm.
As cliche as that sounds, Iām sure if you think back to a situation that youād never thought youād see your way out of, youāll realize just in fact how God used the resources of the situation to bring about something that you never knew was within.
Thatās the amazing grace of the almighty Father we have and Lord we serve.
I encourage you the next time that you find yourself in the midst of a storm, to ask God what He is trying to produce out of you through the resources of your storm.
Having faith some times isnāt as pretty as it sounds. It can be hard, tiresome, full of fear and doubt, and feel like a storm we canāt see our way through.
When chaos, confusion, strife, and pain have seemingly made a declaration over our circumstances that we canāt or wonāt make it out; having faith begins to shrink down to the mustard seed in a haystack that impossible to find or keep hold of.
Yet the grace, love, and faithfulness of our MIGHTY Father is not only more than enough to pull the reigns of our storms into obedience. But gentle, calm, and patient enough to cover us in cloak of protection that allows us to walk through seemingly unfazed.
Apart for this being true years ago for Jesusā 12 disciples who found themselves apart from Jesus, in the midst of a storm; it still proves itself to be just as true now in the daily storms we face.
Will we allow them to crush the foundation of our faith? Or will we surrender them to the faithfulness of an almighty, loving God in faith that He will get us through?
