Ever think about all of the content you didn’t get to take on a trip you spent six months planning and saving for and working like a completely crazy person to make happen or are you totally normal?
But anyway just crying in Indy wishing I had another international trip ready to go but for now I’ll enjoy the nice weather here and my mortgage or whatever. Here’s some of what I did in May. 🤍
In my feels tonight, genuine question: does imposter syndrome ever truly go away or do we keep seeking outside validation for the rest of our lives 😵💫

One row of a mix of 22” and 18” Coveted wefts custom colored by .hair her last day with me BTC 🥲 we mixed Dubai, Cape Town, and Milan for this dreamy summer bronde.
My secret to wind proofing my rows? Root Melt Color by a color line I helped develop that is designed with extension artists in mind. This color combo scratches an itch in my brain that I cannot explain. The way that extensions make the impossible achievable with fashion colors and color blocking makes things so exciting behind the chair.

❌Why we ask you to avoid sunscreens containing Avobenzone and Oxybenzone when you wear hair extensions❌
��Unwanted Tones: Oxybenzone can chemically react with the pigments in extension hair, leaving behind an unnatural brassy, orange, or even pink/salmon hue.
��Damaging Buildup: Oxybenzone is an oil-soluble chemical that easily absorbs into the highly porous fibers of extensions. It leaves an oily, sticky residue that strips moisture, leaving the hair brittle and prone to tangles.
The Chemical Reaction: When Avobenzone is exposed to the sun and heat, it breaks down. If it comes into contact with iron or other hard water/pool minerals on the hair, it oxidizes, leaving an unnatural brassy or pinkish tint.
��Porosity: Because hair extensions are highly porous, they soak up the sunscreen ingredients much faster than your natural, living hair.
So while my dark brunettes may not notice the negative pigment impact of a chemical sunscreen, we will feel the chemical damage left behind. The damage may not be visible but it will definitely shorten the lifespan of our hair, this applies to wefts and keratin bonds. The safest bet for the ocean and your wallet is to choose a physical sunscreen where the active ingredient is Zinc and/or Titanium dioxide as the main ingredient. A sunscreen that claims to be reef safe is not a good indicator as there are loopholes, always read the active ingredient first!
