There is no "One size fits all" for curly hair. Why you seek a curl specialist is to find someone who knows how to work with YOUR curls and give you the best cut and style for YOU! Researching stylists, looking through their portfolio and reading reviews is often times step 1. Step 2 is scheduling a consultation to make sure they really are the right fit for you. Step 3 is to trust the process and trust their expertise. And step 4 is to reach out to them should you have any questions or concerns before OR after your appointment. There are a lot of amazing curly stylists out there doing great work. I'm not here to bash anyone, only here to educate and say there is no right or wrong way to cut curls, but there is a right way to cut YOUR curls. Hope this helps.
