A powerful golf swing requires more than flexible shoulders—it also depends on mobility through your thoracic spine. ⛳
Your thoracic spine makes up the upper and middle portion of your back. When it can rotate effectively, it may support a fuller backswing, better sequencing, and more efficient power transfer. When mobility is limited, other areas—such as the shoulders, hips, or lower back—may compensate.
Compass Fascial Stretch Therapy uses gentle, assisted stretching to help target movement restrictions affecting your rotation and swing.
Move Better. Swing Stronger.

Looking for more distance off the tee? Your hips may be part of the equation. ⛳
Limited hip mobility can restrict your backswing, disrupt your sequencing, and make it harder to generate power efficiently.
At Compass, Fascial Stretch Therapy uses gentle, assisted stretching to help address movement restrictions and improve mobility through the hips and surrounding areas. Better movement can give your swing a stronger foundation—although individual results will vary.
Move Better. Swing Stronger.

Keeping young athletes healthy, confident, and doing what they love takes a strong support team—and we’re excited to introduce an important member of ours!
Meet Krista Goodnight, our athletic trainer. Krista is here to support children and teens who participate in school, recreational, and competitive sports. Whether your athlete is working to prevent an injury, experiencing new pain or discomfort, or navigating recovery, Krista can help provide knowledgeable guidance along the way.
Athletic trainers are trained to recognize and evaluate sports-related injuries, help athletes reduce their risk of injury, and support a safe, appropriate recovery. Krista can also help parents better understand their child’s condition, determine when additional medical care may be needed, and provide guidance as the athlete prepares to return to activity.
We know it can be difficult for parents to decide what to do when a young athlete says something hurts. Is it normal soreness? Should they rest? Is it safe to keep playing? Krista is available to help families take the next step with greater clarity and confidence.
Every young athlete deserves support that puts their health and safety first. We’re proud to have Krista on our team and look forward to the difference she’ll make for athletes and families in our community.
Have a question or concern about your child’s sports-related injury? Contact us to learn more about how Krista can help.

🏌️ Could your body be costing you strokes?
You spend time dialing in your swing—but if your body can't move the way it's designed to, your swing can only be so efficient.
Tight hips, restricted shoulders, limited thoracic rotation, and poor mobility can all lead to:
⛳ Loss of swing speed
⛳ Decreased driving distance
⛳ Inconsistent ball striking
⛳ Low back, hip, shoulder, or elbow pain
⛳ Fatigue late in the round
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a one-on-one, table-based assisted stretching technique designed to improve mobility throughout your entire body—not just your muscles.
At Compass Chiropractic, our golf-focused FST sessions can help you:
✅ Improve hip and shoulder mobility
✅ Increase rotation and flexibility
✅ Move more efficiently through your swing
✅ Reduce pain and stiffness
✅ Recover faster after a round
✅ Stay on the course doing what you love
Whether you're trying to lower your handicap, hit the ball farther, or simply enjoy a pain-free round, Fascial Stretch Therapy can help your body move the way your golf swing demands.
📅 Schedule your session today and experience the difference.
