1) Stay consistent. Show up and show out every day. Give guests stellar results every single visit. Never half step. They will continue to patronize you if you are dependable and they are getting their money’s worth.

2) Continuous education
Here in Indy, it’s not required of hairstylist to continue education. However, you must learn new techniques and trends. It will keep you motivated, focused and guests are always ready for you to try the NEW on them.

3) BE PROFESSIONAL ALWAYS!!!
Professionalism goes a very long way, trust me.
Show up on time, respond to clients with respect, make sure your environment is professional. If you’re in a salon with no professional attributes, find another one. It reflects on you.

Hairstylist listen to Auntie! I have a lot of nuggets to give. If you’re looking for a salon to help you grow and retain your clients. Don’t jump into a salon suite. You need an open concept hair salon.
