Sometimes we just need a little change! We’ve been doing various shades of a red or copper brown for a while and this is such a fun pop! We achieved this color by using 7KR, 6kk and clear with 20 vol. this helped lift out her color and give her this stunning pop.

In world full of extension options sometimes we just need to keep it simple and enhance our current length an add volume. No need to make it complicated. Tip 1:
Copper fades when it’s dry, not when it’s old.
Use a sulfate-free shampoo, wash cooler, and hydrate weekly.

Tip 2:
Heat is copper’s worst enemy.
If you’re using hot tools, you need a heat protectant — and lower temps mean longer-lasting color.

Tip 3:
Copper isn’t meant to be redone every visit.
Glosses every 4–6 weeks keep it rich and shiny without over-processing.

If your copper fades fast, it may not be your hair — it may be your routine. Washing in cold water sucks, but it’s not too bad when it’s washed and styled by a pro. Book a wash and style with our assistants! Or if you’re struggling with maintaining your copper we can help with that too!

If you’re keeping that bright, sun-kissed blonde year-round (especially with extensions), here’s what matters:

❄️Dry winter air = thirsty hair
Cold temps + indoor heat pull moisture fast, and extension hair feels it first.

• Hydration is non-negotiable
Masks, leave-ins, and gentle products keep blonde from looking dull or brittle. Make sure to avoid protein on your extensions, products like Hydration, Masque and Luxury Shampoo and Masque are great for extensions.

❄️You may need to replace wefts
Extensions don’t get natural oils, and over time winter dryness + regular wear can affect tone, softness, and movement. Replacing wefts keeps your blonde looking fresh, blended, and expensive — not tired.

Then we layer in heat protection and styling products that support shine, smoothness, and hold.

We use professional brushes to actually polish the hair as we dry — not just blow hot air at it.
And we take the time to curl it properly, section by section, so it lasts longer and feels healthier.

It’s not just styling… it’s care + technique + time.

At we carry products, you don’t need much to help your hair look and feel it’s best. We will teach you how to use the products and make sure you have everything you need to style your hair to look it’s best even outside of the salon.

How do we manage to only highlight once a year ?!

1. She’s been a client for a few years now and so she’s exclusively been getting and this color is more translucent which means more dimension.

2. She’s fairly grey, and since grey hair takes color differently and often fades over time this also helps with the dimension.

3. She’s out in the sun A LOT in the spring and summer which fades her color.

4. I have two different formulas I apply in order to achieve her goal look.

I love that this means for my client a low maintenance color service while having extensions in which is great for someone that needs to be in the salon less time and wants to have extensions but not be overly high maintenance. My staff is trained to work on all helping every client achieve their color goals with or without extensions, so if you’re looking for a more personalized salon experience we are your place !

My client has been wearing the same hair since May 2024 😳, but we did refresh two pieces. We are replacing soon but wanted to make it last until she goes on a trip so I cut the row apart and refreshed the color with more detail than normal. Im so happy we did because the color is perfect. It’s just what she needed to make it a little longer !

* Most extensions are not able to last this long but she made the investment into a higher quality hair to get her thru this long.

Wearing extensions is one of the best things I’ve done for myself and doing them is the second best. I love the feeling I have for myself. I love what I get to do for my clients sitting in my chair, plus having a space to help my staff give that feeling to their clients too.
