Summer behind the chair is always one of my busiest seasons — long days, extension installs, transformations, content, conversations, and giving so much of myself to my clients.

So when summer starts winding down, I try to let myself slow down too.

More nights at home. More rest. Taking care of my body. Getting back into routines that make me feel like me. Giving myself space to feel creative again instead of constantly feeling like I need to be “on.”

I love what I do, but I’m learning that I don’t have to run myself into the ground to be good at it.
