The date above the door shows 1384. This Medina in Sale, Morocco was built in the 1100’s to the 1400’s. And then expanded in the 1700’s.

This guy I selling peas by the kilo. The price is 13 dirham per kilo which equates to about 16 cents. A kilo is about what he is holding in his bowl. They were just picked from the fields.
