Y’all. She lit up looking at herself. Like really lit up. And that right there is why I do what I do. Because sometimes we just need to see ourselves the way we actually are. Beautiful. Already.

I needed that time out there. Just me, my plants, and the work. No noise. Just tending to what I planted and trusting what is growing. Tomatoes. Plums. Cucumber. Butter lettuce straight to the table tonight for burgers. Not fancy. Just intentional. And it feels so good. 💋🦚💜
House shoes and all. Some days this is what showing up looks like and that is perfectly okay. 💋🦚💜

I did not put this shirt on just because it looks good.
I put it on because I know what it feels like to keep going when the road was not smooth. When things did not go the way I planned or the way I prayed.
When I was climbing and could not always see the top.
And I know I am not the only one. If you have been that woman — and I think a lot of us have — just know. I see you.
And nevertheless sis, you persist.

He said it’s my personality on full display. And he was not wrong.
I walked in exactly as I am. Full color. Full energy. Peacock print and all. No adjusting. No toning it down. Just me.
And if you’re reading this, I want the same thing for you too.
This week just show up as your full self in every space that you enter. Perfectly imperfect, and know that that is still exactly enough.

She came to me knowing what she wanted. She just could not figure out when.
A toddler at home. A partner on a different shift. Nothing left by evening. Sound familiar?
The conversation was not about pushing harder. It was about choosing — and then doing it without waiting for it to feel easy.
She chose 5:40 AM. Fifteen minutes. Just enough to start her day on her terms.

I had to ask myself some real questions.
Not about working harder. Not about doing more. But about where I was — and whether that environment still matched who I was becoming.
That reflection changed things for me. I think it might do the same for you.
