Bleached hair is always fragile hair, it can be healthy but it's definitely always "proceed with caution" type of hair. So dont forget the hair treatments & heat protection!!

Im also coming up to another year around the sun and Im happy to reflect on my life thus far and set new goals ✨️ every year around my birthday I like to write a tidbit about the year past what it meant to be X amount of years and what I'm looking to do. Sometimes it aligns, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes its more challenging and sometimes its easier. But that is life. Im happy to have supportive and uplifting people around me.

A copper color correction, we went from super dark cherry red to this beautiful copper balyage. Sometimes visions take detours, and sometimes they turn out better than the original. Being flexible with colour is everything, especially in a colour correction. Hair has a mind of its own and even tho "in theory" always applies, there are always wierd things that pop up, here the ends didnt budge as much as we wished from the color remover, but then we lightened the ends and it turned out so pretty. Obsessed!!
I'm really digging doing color corrections lately... they are a lot of different steps and tons of problem solving. But I love the challenge. As long as everyone understands, it's a journey and may lead to something a little different at first or best case something better! We are always at the mercy of the hair and what the chemistry does. As well as communication! I try my best to let all my clients know what is happening, what might happen and what may not be happening 🤷🏻‍♀️
Always and always life reminds me to be flexible not only in my work but my day to day. 🥴 we can't always bet on things going exactly to how we want. Being flexible and welcoming change and different perspective can have so many lessons.
