Today I had to listen to my body.
As entrepreneurs, especially those of us just getting started, it's easy to feel like we have to keep pushing no matter what. But I've learned that taking a short day—or even taking a day off when your body needs it—isn't quitting, and it isn't being lazy.
It's wisdom.
Your business needs you, and if you're constantly running on empty, eventually your body will make the decision for you.
Rest when you need to. Heal when you need to. Then come back stronger.
To all my fellow nail techs and entrepreneurs: your health is one of your greatest investments. Take care of yourself, because your dreams are worth protecting.
