As I reflect on my second Mother’s Day, I realize more & more that I was one of those who were quick to judge other moms before I was a mom myself.

Being a mom is so much more than I ever thought it would be. I have gained so much respect for my own mother through this journey. The many times she would tell me, “just you wait and see once you have your own child” and the many times I would brush it off with a “yeah, yeah. Whatever!”

To now, I constantly am saying to myself - I get it now, she was right.

I have gained the most admiration for all of the moms in my life, especially those close to me who have guided me through the many ups & downs of motherhood. Those that have shown me what endless love for their child & what a great mom looks like. Those who taught me that there truly is no rule book to being a mom. That being a mom is the most rewarding, difficult, exciting, & greatest thing I will ever experience.

& with that, I am so grateful for my baby boy, Miles. He truly is my greatest blessing & i’m so thankful he is the one who made me a Mom. 💖
