Two patients, two very different concerns, one duo behind both results.
BBL and Moxi don't treat a single problem; they treat a range of them, which is exactly why we see such different transformations walk through our doors using the same combination. One patient came in focused on sun damage and uneven pigmentation. Another was working on texture and early fine lines. Same treatment plan, completely different starting points, and completely different results tailored to what each patient's skin actually needed.
That's the real value of this duo. BBL works at the surface to even out tone and calm redness and pigmentation, while Moxi works deeper to resurface texture and stimulate collagen. Together, they cover far more ground than either treatment does alone, which means more people can benefit from the same series regardless of what brought them in.
Just a reminder, our SHADe Skin Transformation package is still open this month, and spots are limited.
Face: $4,250
Face + Neck/Chest: $5,495
Each package includes your full BBL/MOXI series, a medical-grade skincare and recovery kit, and complimentary Aura Reality baseline and post-treatment imaging, a $250 value, so your transformation isn't just felt; it's seen.

Not every trend that goes viral is right for your face, and that's the part we wish more people knew before they walked in asking for it.
Part of being a good injector isn't saying yes to every request. It's understanding what someone actually needs, even when that means talking them out of something they came in wanting. A treatment that photographs well on someone else's face can throw off the balance of yours entirely. And sometimes the honest answer isn't a different filler; it's a completely different plan, or no treatment at all until the fundamentals are in place.
This is the kind of judgment that only comes from experience, not from a trending sound. If you've ever wondered why your consultation looked different than you expected, this is why.

Today marks the first day of fall, and around here, that means one thing: laser season has officially arrived. As the sun eases up, this is the ideal window to treat sun damage, uneven tone, and texture without worrying about UV exposure getting in the way of your results.
Just a reminder, our SHADe Skin Transformation package is still open this month, and spots are limited.
If you haven't looked into it yet, here's what you're actually getting. BBL and Moxi are two of the most effective non-surgical treatments available for improving skin tone and texture, and together they cover more ground than either one does alone. BBL uses broad-spectrum light to target sun damage, redness, uneven pigmentation, and broken capillaries, evening out skin tone from the surface. Moxi works a layer deeper, using gentle fractional laser technology to resurface texture, soften fine lines, and stimulate collagen production over time. Paired as a series, they address both colour and texture concerns that homecare alone can't fully resolve, which is why we built the package around this duo specifically.
Face: $4,250
Face + Neck/Chest: $5,495
Each package includes your full BBL/MOXI series, a medical-grade skincare and recovery kit, and complimentary Aura Reality baseline and post-treatment imaging, a $250 value, so your transformation isn't just felt, it's seen.
This is an investment in your skin, and fall is the smartest time of year to start. If it's been on your mind, now is the time to lock in your spot.

Three reasons I'll tell a patient no — even when they're asking for something we offer.
Not every request that walks through the door is one we'll say yes to, and that's by design, not an inconvenience.
A treatment can be technically available and still be the wrong call for the person asking. Sometimes what looks like a straightforward booking is actually a conversation that needs to happen first, about what's really bothering someone, whether their tissue has had enough time to heal, or whether the goal they've described is even one a treatment can deliver.
That last piece matters more than people expect. There's a real difference between wanting to look like a rested, well-cared-for version of yourself and wanting to look like someone else entirely. One of those is what good aesthetic medicine can offer. The other usually means we need to slow down and talk before anything gets scheduled.
Turning down a booking isn't about being difficult. It's about protecting results, protecting healing timelines, and protecting the trust that makes people come back. Anyone can say yes to everything. Knowing when not to is what separates a provider from a menu.
If you've ever left a consultation with a different plan than the one you walked in with, that's this in action.

Most people don't think twice about needing both daily habits and professional care to see real results with their skin. Somehow, that logic still gets forgotten when it comes to what professional treatments and homecare are each actually doing.
Here's what "both" actually looks like in practice. Homecare is what protects and maintains the results you've already built, cleansing, SPF, and the right actives used consistently, day after day. It's what keeps your skin from backsliding between visits. Professional treatments, like Sculptra, microneedling, and laser series, are what create the results homecare alone can't reach: deeper stimulation, treatment-grade tools, and a rebuilding process that unfolds gradually over time in a way no product on a bathroom shelf can replicate.
Skip the professional side, and even the best homecare routine eventually plateaus. Skip the homecare side, and even the best treatment plan fades faster than it should. Neither one is optional, they're built to work together.
If you've been doing one but not the other, that's usually the missing piece. We can help you figure out exactly what your skin needs on both sides, at home and in the treatment room.

If someone handed me $1,500 and said "make my face better, not different," here's honestly where I'd start.
It depends on the face in front of me. Everyone's skin history, goals, and budget are different, and a good treatment plan should reflect that, not a one-size-fits-all formula. But for most people in their 30s and 40s who haven't done much treatment before, I'd put the majority of that budget into medical-grade skincare and a facial series before I'd put it all into one injectable.
Here's why. Skin quality is the foundation everything else sits on top of. You can soften a line with Botox or add volume back with a filler or Sculptra, but if the skin underneath is dull, dehydrated, or breaking down at the barrier level, none of those treatments will look as good as they could. Great injectables on tired, undernourished skin still read as tired, undernourished skin. Healthy, well-supported skin is what makes every other treatment look effortless instead of obvious.
That's the "better, not different" mindset in practice. It's not about chasing the most dramatic result you can buy in one visit. It's about building a foundation that makes your face look like a well-rested, well-cared-for version of itself. Once that foundation is in place, injectables and collagen-building treatments become the finishing touches, not the fix.
Of course, this isn't a universal rule. Someone with significant volume loss, deeper static lines, or a specific concern they've been putting off might need to prioritize differently, and that's exactly why this decision should be made in a consultation, not a comment section. But if you're asking where the smartest first dollars go for most people, skin quality wins more often than people expect.
So now I want to hear from you. If you had $1,500 to spend on your own face, where would you put it first? Skin, Botox, or a collagen-building treatment like Sculptra? Comment your pick below; I want to see how the split actually looks.
And if you want an honest answer for your specific face instead of a general one, that's what a consultation is for.

The "frozen" look isn't an inevitable side effect of Botox. It's a dosing choice, and often the result of overtreatment rather than the treatment itself. At SHADe, we use conservative, anatomy-based dosing that respects the way your face naturally moves. The goal isn't stillness; it's softness. You should still be able to raise an eyebrow, look surprised, look annoyed, break into a real smile. Botox done thoughtfully softens fine lines without erasing expression.
If you have a friend who swears they'll "never get Botox" because of how someone else's turned out, send them this. Most of the time, what they're picturing is a dosing decision, not a rule. A skilled, conservative approach can look like rest, not like nothing happened.

Microneedling is one of the most effective ways to improve skin texture, tone, and overall quality without surgery or significant downtime. The treatment uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This sounds intense, but the process is what makes it work. Those micro-injuries signal your body to produce more collagen and elastin, the two proteins responsible for firm, smooth, youthful-looking skin.
As we age, collagen production naturally slows down. That decline is part of what leads to fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and skin that feels less resilient than it used to. Microneedling works by essentially resetting that process. It encourages your skin to repair and rebuild itself, using its own natural mechanisms rather than introducing anything foreign.
Here is what microneedling can help with:
Fine lines and early signs of aging
Acne scarring and textural irregularities
Enlarged pores
Uneven skin tone
Overall dullness and loss of elasticity
Stretch marks in some cases
One of the reasons we love recommending microneedling at SHADe is its versatility. It works well on its own, and it also pairs beautifully with other treatments, including PRP, to enhance results even further. Because it stimulates your body's own healing response, the results tend to look natural and build gradually over time rather than appearing overnight.
Most clients see a series of small improvements after just one session, with more significant changes becoming visible after a full treatment series. Skin tends to appear plumper, smoother, and more even in tone as collagen continues rebuilding in the weeks following treatment.
Downtime is typically minimal. You can expect some redness for a day or two, similar to a mild sunburn, and most people are comfortable returning to their routine shortly after.
If your skin has been asking for a refresh, microneedling might be exactly what it needs. Learn more about our approach at sherissehill.com.
