Attention Collegetown Businesses:
Lisa at Big Red Barber Shop has organized a holiday window contest, so show us your most fabulous, twinkly, shiny displays of cheer. Judging will take place by local Collegetown residents on December 20th.

Collegetown’s streets are looking better with some recent additions:
- Big Belly trash and recycling receptacles with historic Collegetown images, a collaboration between the Collegetown Small Business Alliance, City of Ithaca, and Tompkins Chamber Foundation as part of our Collegetown beautification and branding initiatives. We’re sad to see the brand new cans already tagged with graffiti though. 😕
- Gorgeous and powerful mural on the electrical box at the corner of College and Dryden, created by local artist Josh Swartwood and facilitated by our dear friends at also as part of the Collegetown beautification efforts they’re so forthright in helping with.
- New trees as part of the still-being-done new street scape on College Ave.
Thank you to all who love and care for our neighborhood. We have more beautification and branding projects in the works, so stay tuned!

We’re so glad so many entities are invested in our neighborhood!
