Ever wonder how we make our cold processed soaps?
Cold process soap making is the original, traditional method of making soap by combining fat or oil (animal or plant based) with sodium hydroxide lye then blending in addition of essential oils and colorants as required. This treatment causes a chemical reaction called saponification which takes up to 48 hours. During this process we combine our Olive, shea, Coconut, Castor, and h**p oils for our one of a kind high quality soap bars.
We also add our unique scent blends such as our bestseller Mississippi Madness ( rain, fresh air, rosemary), Moonlit Mississippi ( orchid blossoms and jasmine), Cucumber Melon ( fresh cucumbers and melons), Lavender Breeze ( Lavender and fresh air), and Lovers Leap ( cherry blossom). We also have some new scents coming out! Sunny day ( fresh air and spring flowers), and River Spirit ( teakwood and oak with hints of rosemary). Shea Butter is one of our main ingredients used in our soaps! Not only is it highly moisturizing but this special ingredient provides so many benefits for your skin. We melt our shea down and combine it with our key oils to provide an ultra moisturizing and high quality product.

Sometimes you just need to stay up and make soap! River Spirit and Sunny Day are new scents that are available in our body butters as well! They will be up for sale once our soap curing is complete. ❤
