☝🏼HAIRCUT ADJUSTMENTS?! 👀 😱 ... love these "after care cutting tips" by @skipdoeshair ❤️@arcscissors artist! ... this one is for the people pleasers of the world 🫶 I’m letting y’all know now - this is NOT something that is ever going to offend me! Like…not even a tiny bit. 💞 Whether it’s during your appointment or week later, I actually really WANT you to let me know if something is feeling off. Hairstylists are human beings not robots. We have off days just like anyone else. Also hair reacts differently once settled back into your at home routine. Please help me help YOU love your hair! ✨ NOW while we are on the subject there are complimentary adjustments & then there are some things that you should be booking as a brand new service! ✂️ Things that are typical adjustment requests: ✂️Something uneven ✂️Top layer is too thick ✂️Bottom layers are too thick ✂️A piece is sticking out funny Things that should be booked as a new service: 🚫You asked for no bangs, but now you want bangs 🚫You asked for a specific length, but now you’d like another 3+ inches off 🚫You asked for ____ haircut, but now you’d like to try a completely different hairstyle because you don’t like it

I saw this on another seamstresses page, and I thought it was a very good reminder to all of us...

Imagine showing up to work and your boss tells you they don’t have any work for you, you won’t be getting paid, but you can’t go home.
That’s what it’s like when you no show/cancel last minute with your hairstylist, tattoo artist, seamstress, bridal store, etc.
Keep in mind, be respectful of these industries, just as we would with our doctor/dentist/health appointments. Normalize respecting your friends in these industries and not taking advantage of their services. It's even harder when they plan ahead to have staff there to cover for your appointment and now it's costing them money to pay their employee and no customer.
Just a good reminder to us all! Support local businesses!
