Andrea has years of experience in the beauty industry as a permanent makeup artist, specializing in brows and lash services.

Andrea and I have known each other for a few years now, and I’ve always admired her passion for helping her clients look and feel their best. Recently, she joined me for my Brazilian Wax Training to add another service to her menu and continue expanding her skills.

A Little Self-Reflection and Hopefully motivation to the person trying to build their business 💗

This business wasn’t created overnight. It wasn’t handed to me, and it definitely wasn’t built by simply posting a few pictures on social media.

I started in an empty room with essentially nothing. From day one, I’ve had my ride-or-dies beside me, but everything else was built through countless hours of hard work, dedication, and showing up—even when my books only had one appointment.

I introduced myself, built relationships, and connected with amazing women throughout Jackson, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Chelsea, and beyond. I invested in myself by staying educated, motivated, and constantly improving my skills.

Over the years, my clients have become friends and family. I’ve never taken for granted the people who trust me with their appointments, refer their friends and family, or spend their hard-earned money supporting my business. Every single one of you has played a role in this journey.

One thing I’ve learned is that clients don’t just appear. Success doesn’t come from posting here and there and hoping people find you. You have to show up consistently—even on the days you don’t feel like it. Before hours, after hours, on your days off, and through the slow seasons. It’s not always easy, and yes, it can be exhausting, but if you truly want to build something lasting in this industry, that’s what it takes.

No matter how far down the road I get, I’ll continue to hustle. I’ll continue to learn, grow, and show up. Because this isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. This is my career, my passion, and the brand I want to continue building.

And for that, I’m incredibly grateful.

This is exactly why I love doing trial runs. Her wedding day look ended up being a little different from her trial—and that’s the beauty of it.
