Thirty-One Botanicals

Lavender grows in zones 5-9 and is very easy to maintain. I start my plants indoors and move them outside as the weather warms. The bloom is fragrant even when dried and drying lavender is easy and looks so pretty hanging in a kitchen.

It’s one of my favorite blooms and I use it in my customs soaps and soaks! Tell me what ails you and I can fix it with lavender!

Let's start with the basics...

Lavender oil is believed to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to heal minor burns and bug bites.

Research suggests that it may be useful for treating anxiety, insomnia, depression, and restlessness.

Now is the time to start the herb garden! Plant a little of what you love. I'm going to get some parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme going. What's your brew?

Oh Mercy! I feel a big brew coming on...spring is almost here and I'm so ready to get out of this winter rut! Feeling a little sassy too...so who knows what I'm cooking up this weekend! The moon is in Leo so anything can happen! Stay tuned for results!
