agreed to be a hair model for a little photo shoot 📸 and she’s just the freakin cutest 🩵
She has been growing her hair and wants it long(er), so we only dusted off her ends. The heavy lifting was at the shampoo bowl 💪
The cleansing at the bowl is the bread and butter of resetting your hair, allowing water to break into the strands to rehydrate the curls, and sets you up for the best success on wash days at home.

My vision for has been simple: everyone who comes in is treated like family. You belong right away. And second, we’re a salon for all hair types. We’re going to celebrate everyone’s hair 🥳
literally embodies all of this, because it’s just who she is. It’s been 4 weeks since we started rolling, and Ive watched Paige make her clients days over and over again. I’m so thankful she jumped in with me and is creating a culture in real life that I’ve been dreaming about.

If someone could pinch me, that would be great... NEVER IN MY LIFE did I think I would have custom art work. But and went above and beyond, and created the most unique, friggin cool, stunning art pieces custom for Kin and Curl 😆
from is a HUGE reason why Kin and Curl looks and feels the way it does. She is an incredible artist at designing spaces from the ground up.
I knew I needed her help when I showed her my inspo board, and she so kindly said… “so, you’re going to have to put some neutral colors there…”
Laura had her had in all of the elements of the salon and made this space come to life. I couldn’t be more grateful.
And now there’s ART for all to enjoy (and some neutral colors 😉)

Week one at Kin and Curl is in the books!
It feels surreal and really hasn’t sunk in yet. There’s still details to tweak, unpacking to be done and plenty to learn, BUT this space is on its way to becoming what I’d always hoped: bright, high end-cozy (just made that adjective up) and most importantly, welcoming 🫶
My dream for Kin and Curl is to build a salon where creativity is celebrated, kindness is the standard, and all hair types can walk through that yellow(ish) door. 🌻
And now comes one of the most exciting parts…
Im looking for a few stylists who want to build their career at Kin and Curl!
