Why are color corrections so expensive??
1️⃣Time- the process takes 4-5 hrs depending on the condition of the hair! Hair is always damaged, spotty and orange.
2️⃣Formulation-i have two use 2-3 different levels of lightener to apply to each section to create consistant lift. After that the rest of the hair left outside foil has to be toned down create and even lift. After processing, foils are removed and blonde is toned again.
3️⃣The final step is consulting the client on using proper products to maintain and keep hair healthy..
📍Keep in mind that if you had damaged hair for years.. it’s going to take 3-4 sessions and about six months for hair to grow and be healthy.. ⭐️Will not be one session! No professional will say it only takes one session..
📍This is why I charge $150 an hour! 4-5 hours standard..
After that the Clients color is pretty much fixed and even. She can then choose to come back for a rate of $100 an hour 2-3 hours minimum for Blondes.
