Just an update concerning the Coronavirus. I am open for business, and am taking every precaution to keep everyone safe. I have plenty of Lysol, and I am sanitizing every surface and tool before and after each client. I will let everyone know should I start feeling unwell. I ask that if you're feeling unwell, please call and reschedule your appointment to ensure everyone's safety as I do have some elderly and immunocompromised clients. Thank you for your business!!

Today's hair tip: Never vigorously rub hair with a towel to dry! Hair is very fragile when wet, and rubbing with a towel can break hair off, causing frizz. Instead, blot, or wrap the towel around your hair until it's dry enough to comb. :)

Today's hair tip: It's not necessary to wash all of your hair. Just shampoo the scalp, which is really the only part of your hair that gets dirty, and the action of the shampoo rinsing down your hair cleanses the rest! It saves on shampoo, and alleviates dryness. :)

Today's tip: Never brush your hair while it's wet! Hair is very fragile when wet, and brushing while wet causes breakage and frizz. Instead, start combing at the nape of the neck, starting at the ends and work your way up. It's also damaging to scrub your hair dry with a towel! Just blot to soak up the water. :)

Today's hair tip: After washing & conditioning your hair, rinse in cool water to promote shine! Cool water closes the cuticle (the outside layer of your hair) which in turn reflects light. It also protects the hair from damage.:)
