Summer break has begun!!

☀️ A few updates heading into the summer months. I will only be working 3 days a week while my son is on summer vacation. Trying to spend as much time with him as possible before he graduates high school in a few short years. A wise man once said, “life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." So I intend to enjoy these warm summer months as best as possible. With that said, I will also be on a short vacation from June 20th-24th. So I won’t be answering any messages or texts until I return.

💍 I also wanted to give the heads up that Saturdays in October are very limited as I have several weddings I’m working at that month. I know taking time off work isn’t ideal but if you’re one of my Saturday guests, I would suggest seeing if you can make that work so we don’t get off schedule with your appts.

💲My new pricing does take effect July 1st and I will post those prices at my station and update them on here.

🎆 Speaking of July, I do have some availability later in that month if you need an appointment. Just shoot me a message or text!

🚨I had a couple of updates and changes that I wanted to address. The first, being that starting July 1, 2026 there will be a price increase in all my services. Due to the rising costs in products and to get them shipped, insurances, along with daily living costs becoming increasingly more expensive, I really have no other choice. If I want to continue to do what I love and be behind the chair, I had to come to this decision. I did not come to this lightly as I know life has become expensive for many of us. But, just keep in mind my prices are still very comparable for the area. For example, even Great Clips charges $150+ for highlights and a haircut. And no shade to them at all, I believe all salons to be vital. But many of the stylists that work in places like Great Clips are new and I’m going on over 20 years of experience. I appreciate you all so very much and hope to continue to be your go-to stylist. And I promise to always stay current with trends and continue my education to give you the best hair possible! A new price list will be posted soon.

☑️ Secondly, I need to address no shows and last minute cancellations. I had several of these in April. This week alone I had over $300 in a loss of income due to cancellations. I cannot continue to operate in this capacity. Please keep in mind, I do not get an hourly wage or salary. I pay for all of my own products, rent, insurances, taxes etc. If I come into work and someone cancels, I’m making no money. And I’m forced to just sit around due to gaps in my schedule. It would be like you going to work and your boss saying they aren’t going to pay your for a few hours. I imagine that wouldn’t go over well. I don’t want to work for free and I’m sure none of you do either. Please please please, take this into consideration when needing to cancel. I understand things happen, you get sick, a sick kid, car breaks down etc and I’m accommodating to that. I get circumstances come up. But just to simply forget your appointment leaves me with no time to fill the spot. As a reminder, I do require at least a 48 hr notice if you need to cancel/reschedule or I will have to charge a 50% fee of the service.

Hey All! I wanted to give a quick update on my schedule. Nothing is changing really but at this moment my late afternoon/evening or Saturday appointments are very limited. Especially for color guests. I currently only work one evening a week, and every other Saturday, and I have set guests who already have many of those times booked. However, I do have daytime appointments available for anyone who can make those times work. Which I do have some of those coming up if you need in! ☺️
