I used to go straight for the big name brands I recognized from influencers and ads. Big names means safe right? Like someone already did the vetting for you.
But the more I learned, the more I realized those brands aren’t built around you-they’re built around selling to you. They make decisions based off big retailers regulations and use the best key words to get the sale, with a big budget to get seen.
The small brands I trust now know why they started, know their ingredients, where they came from, and chose them intentionally. They happily answer your DMs at 9 pm and stand behind their business with whatever questions come in.
That’s why we intentionally shop small, and sell small. We’re not chasing big retail stores who would require us to compromise on our standards.
