Unpopular opinion…. The beauty industry is meant for solo or grouped artist in the field specializing in the craft of their choosing. Not franchises.

Do franchises work essentially yes, for the client that wants quick, cheaper water down versions of the services. But for the cosmetologist or esthetician it usually doesn’t work well.

The business model is set up for consumers convenience, which could be a good thing overall. However, the services are cheap and cookie cutter.

For the employee it’s working hard back to back with barely time to breathe just to make the money work for you.
Under unreasonable time constraints.

The beauty business is meant for creatives to do just that create not follow some set up boring protocol set of services that creates boredom and burnout. It’s great for training and a starting point. But don’t let it be your full stop.
