My name is Jessica James, and I’m the proud owner and sole operator of Ruets LLC — a brand that was born from love, intention, and a deep desire to return to our natural roots.

I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce myself and share a little of the story behind Ruets. As many of you know, I’m a mother to a vibrant and amazing six-year-old girl, Kennedy Rue. Long before she was born, I knew I wanted only the best for her — the purest care, the gentlest touch, and products made with real love. That desire sparked something in me, and the vision for Ruets began to take form.

The name “Ruets” is inspired by both her name and the powerful idea of reconnecting with our roots — not just our natural hair, but our culture, our energy, and our self-love. At Ruets LLC, we believe in nurturing both beauty and well-being, offering not just exceptional braiding services, but also a line of handmade hair and skincare products crafted from all-natural ingredients.

Everything I create — from every braid to every bottle — is infused with love, intention, and positive energy. Whether you’re sitting in my chair or applying a Ruets product at home, know that you're experiencing something made with care, compassion, and purpose.
