Healthy hair over shortcuts
⬇️ Learn how to keep it growing
Y’all think dirt grows hair? 😭 Skipping shampoo isn’t the secret to healthy hair. Water hydrates. Shampoo cleanses. Conditioner moisturizes. Then seal if needed.
And before y’all ask me 47 times what products to use I put some of my recommendations in my Amazon storefront. Link in bio.

Y’all will watch inches hit the floor and still say “that was just a trim.” 😂 At some point we gotta call it what it is.
So let’s settle this. How much hair can hit the floor before YOU call it a haircut?
Y’all be fighting to keep every inch even when the damage is telling a different story 😂 At some point you’re not holding on to healthy length. You’re holding on to damage. Are y’all still scared of a haircut?
Ya’ll will keep 3 struggling inches just to say your hair long. 😭
Y’all a silk press can only hide so much. 😭If those ends are thin and damaged more heat and more product aren’t going to fix them. Sometimes those ends just gotta go.
Now the real question is how many inches are we negotiating? 😂👀
Y’ALL JUST WETTING YOUR HAIR WITH WATER AND PUTTING OIL ON IT?
Y’all keep reaching for the oil, but the hair is still dry. 😭 At some point we gotta look at the routine. Oil has a job but adding moisture ain’t it.
Y’ALL DO KNOW A PROTECTIVE STYLE CAN STOP BEING PROTECTIVE RIGHT?
Braids are a protective style but you still have to take care of the hair underneath. Use a leave in conditioner to help keep your hair moisturized while it’s braided. And if you’re keeping your braids in longer, shampoo and condition your hair too. Around that first month is a good time to give them a good wash.
And make sure your hair is completely dry afterward.
Because when you take those braids down, we don’t want your ends looking like gas prices, up over here and down over there.
Y’all keep trying to fix dry hair with grease and a prayer. The order matters. Hydrate. Moisturize. THEN seal.
And since y’all keep asking what products to use, I finally put some options in my Amazon storefront. Link in bio
