These dresses represent the love that this community has for other people and the willingness to give.

These dresses that will go to help provide a beautiful prom gown to those Onslow County Junior and Senior HS students who may otherwise not be able to afford a gown.

We need more dresses to provide an experience that these ladies deserve. We are also collecting shoes, accessories, and unopened makeup.

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!! 📣

Most of our amazing clients are well aware of Jonathan and I moving to Germany very soon — like 10 days soon! 🫣😅 And while we are super excited for this new adventure, it is a bittersweet mixture of emotions that of course comes along with a big move like this. Over the past two months we have struggled to figure out the best way to also move forward with Koi Salon, to not only ensure that the beautiful people of Jacksonville are still being serviced the best in hair care around, but to also ensure that our wonderful staff are in the absolute best hands while we’re away. As difficult as this decision has been, and through many sleepless and tear-filled nights, we finally decided that the BEST option for everyone was to sell.

We began praying for the right person to come along — someone who would continue to lead with their heart and pour love into this business that is so near and dear to us. And wouldn’t you know, God pulled through! 🙌 So with all that said, we are ECSTATIC to officially announce that our sweet friend, Nina Mahlum, will be returning to the Koi family, but this time as the new owner! 🫶🥰

Many of you may remember Nina, who was one of the original team members when Koi was still Koi 1.0 (as we like to call it 🤣)— so how perfect is it that she will be coming full circle back “home.” We could not be more happy for her as she is sure to take Koi Salon to new heights and levels that even we could only dream of, and we are so blessed that our stylists have welcomed her with open arms throughout this entire process.

And while I may have been a little resistant in handing over the keys 😉 I know in my heart that Koi Salon will continue to thrive and that gives me a sense of peace that I’m so grateful for. Hope everyone enjoys our fun mini-photoshoot of handing the keys over, sometimes you have to make light of the situation to not cry. 🤣
